Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas pentingnya integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra sebagai upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa. Konteks pendidikan kontemporer menyoroti perlunya mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisional dan karakter di tengah-tengah globalisasi yang berpotensi mengikis warisan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki potensi infiltrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa, sekaligus menjawab kebutuhan akan pendekatan pendidikan holistik. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui systematic literature review menggunakan panduan PRISMA dengan fokus pada tren pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan minat dalam topik ini, namun implementasi kearifan lokal dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra masih tergolong minim. Temuan menarik melalui visualisasi overlay menunjukkan potensi besar bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk lebih mendalami implementasi kearifan lokal sebagai sarana penanaman nilai dan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra di Indonesia. Rekomendasi meliputi penggalian lebih dalam tentang kearifan lokal, integrasinya secara signifikan dalam kurikulum, pelatihan bagi guru, serta desain strategi pembelajaran yang kreatif dan relevan dengan budaya lokal.
