Abstract
The community service program aims to improve the technical skills of students and instructors at the Don Bosco Job Training Center (BLK) in Sumba through the application of Industry 4.0 technologies. The training focused on three main aspects: programming and operating the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), product design using SolidWorks software and 3D printing, and designing and installing Solar Power Plant (PLTS) systems. The results of this activity showed that the training successfully increased participants' understanding of industrial automation technology and renewable energy. PLCs allow students to operate industrial automation control systems, while training in SolidWorks and 3D printing enables participants to understand digital design and manufacturing fundamentals. In the solar PV training, participants could design and assemble a simple solar PV system suitable for use in the local environment. This training also helps optimize existing facilities, such as PLCs and 3D printers, that have not been used to their full potential. This program significantly enhances participants' skills and readiness to face future developments in industrial technology and renewable energy.
