Main Article Content
Abstract
The era of digital disruption demands that teachers integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into learning to meet the needs of digital native students. However, the availability of technological devices in schools has not been matched by teachers' competence in designing innovative and adaptive learning. This community service program aimed to improve the digital pedagogical competence of teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 1, Malang City, through training in Learning Design Innovation with AI and Digital Technology. The implementation was carried out in stages, including socialization, initial assessment, intensive training on the Canva and Heyzine platforms, and ongoing mentoring over several weeks. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' conceptual understanding from 55% to 87.7% and an increase in technical skills from 59.3% to 84.3%. Furthermore, teachers successfully produced interactive learning media in the form of AI-based e-books that simplified complex material and increased student engagement. This program demonstrated that AI integration serves as a capacity booster for teachers in automating administrative tasks, thus making learning more personalized. The conclusion of this community service program is that intensive mentoring is effective in breaking down barriers to digital literacy and accelerating digital transformation in the school environment.
