Many adolescents experience bullying and lack peers with whom they can share their problems. This situation often leads to feelings of isolation. Therefore, optimizing communication ethics, providing counseling skills, and developing youth counseling corners are crucial to support the realization of Kampung Ramah Keluarga (Family-Friendly Villages). This initiative was implemented through a community service program conducted by lecturers from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (IKK) of the Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) at IPB University, as part of the Dosen Pulang Kampung program in Babakan Village, Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. The activity involved 26–36 adolescents aged 11–18 years. The method employed consisted of interactive counseling sessions delivered in three modules across two meetings, covering topics on communication ethics, counseling skills, and the development of youth counseling corners. To evaluate the program's effectiveness, pre-tests and post-tests were administered. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and awareness of communication ethics and counseling skills. Adolescents responded positively, as reflected in their active participation in discussions and experience-sharing, as well as their support for the establishment of youth counseling corners as part of the Family-Friendly Village initiative.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Defina Defina, Risda Rizkillah, Susri Adeni, Euis Sunarti, Mustafa Mustafa, Tin Herawatihttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/8582Pelatihan Pembuatan Camilan Sehat sebagai Inisiasi Wirausaha Rumahan pada Ibu Kader dan Ibu Balita di RW 03 Kelurahan Gandaria Utara2024-12-05T03:18:06+00:00Iskari Ngadiartiiskaringadiarti@gmail.comMuntikah Muntikahiskaringadiarti@gmail.comBintang Rizkia Putriiskaringadiarti@gmail.comAurasyifa Salsabila Nixoniskaringadiarti@gmail.com
One indirect cause of stunting is families' low purchasing power, which prevents them from providing sufficient food in sufficient quantity and quality. The provision of quality and affordable food is expected. The purpose of this community service activity is to train cadres and the mothers of stunting toddlers to make healthy food or snacks they can consume themselves and sell. This training begins with making healthy snacks, namely nuggets, for cadres at the North Gandaria Village Health Center. The method used was a lecture and demonstration of making healthy snacks, followed by providing materials to make at home and bringing them to the Puskesmas for assessment. The winning RW was asked to train mothers of stunted toddlers in their area. After that, skilled mothers of stunted toddlers were asked to join the cadre mothers to make their products, which were marketed once a week during every posyandu activity in all RWs in the North Gandaria Village Puskesmas area. During training and competitions for cadres and mothers of stunted toddlers, it became apparent that all mothers were happy and creative, coming up with various healthy snack variants made with protein and fruit. This activity provides benefits, namely the emergence of new entrepreneurs, the production of nuggets and healthy drinks for cadre mothers, in collaboration with mothers of toddlers, which indirectly increases cash for the smooth implementation of posyandu in their area.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Iskari Ngadiarti, Muntikah Muntikah, Bintang Rizkia Putri, Aurasyifa Salsabila Nixonhttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11338Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbahasa Inggris Siswa MAN 3 Sleman dengan Penerapan Pembelajaran Mendalam (Deep Learning) dalam Program “Mayoga Super English Day”2025-11-05T03:56:29+00:00Dwiansari Ramadhanidwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.idRoro Millatu Al Ghaniydwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.idWilly Prasetyadwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.idAnandayu Suri Ardinidwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.idNovi Indriyanidwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.idNandita Faizadwiansari.ramadhani@uii.ac.id
The project "Developing English Proficiency of MAN 3 Sleman Students through Deep Learning Activities in the 'Mayoga Super English Day'" at MAN 3 Sleman aims to strengthen students' English competence, particularly in speaking, through the theme Traditional Games and Stories. Banjarrejo Village in East Lampung, with a population of 6,793 — 2,652 of whom are farmers, faces land degradation and low income due to unsustainable agricultural practices. The open burning of agricultural residues and household waste further exacerbates GHG emissions. The proposed solutions include: Integrated Waste Management and Environmental Conservation—the processing of household organic waste combined with environmental conservation through Lubang Multiguna (Lu-Mu) or multipurpose infiltration pits to enhance water infiltration and soil fertility; Organic Avocado Cultivation to increase farmers' income; and Climate-Smart Agricultural Practices to improve productivity while reducing GHG emissions. The PKM activities were conducted in Banjarrejo Village, Batanghari Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency, from September to December 2025. The program achieved success through collaboration among the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Politeknik Negeri Lampung, and local farmer groups. The results demonstrated a 14% increase in community awareness of climate change issues, improved capacity for mitigation and adaptation, increased household income, and measurable contributions to national GHG reduction through tangible actions such as planting 250 organically managed avocado trees and constructing Lu-Mu infiltration pits for household waste management and groundwater conservation.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Arum Sekar Buana, Dulbari Dulbari, Tri Pujiana, Subarjo Subarjo, Dea Musytari Intan Irpawahttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/10917Peningkatan Efektivitas Pemasaran Produk Purun melalui Digitalisasi Katalog di Kampung Purun, Banjarbaru2025-10-20T02:57:48+00:00Akhmad Suwindiaswinstk22@gmail.comM. One of the main obstacles for the artisan groups is the absence of standardized promotional media, which makes the online ordering process inefficient and limits their market reach. To address this issue, a community service program titled "Purun On Click" was implemented, aiming to enhance the digital marketing capacity of the artisans. This program applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involved the active participation of four artisan groups throughout all stages, from problem identification and solution design to implementation. The main result of this program was the creation of a comprehensive digital product catalog in PDF format. This catalog is bilingual (Indonesian-English) and contains complete product information, including photos, descriptions, dimensions, and prices. Furthermore, a QR code was created and installed in the galleries to provide visitors with quick, easy access to the digital catalog. The presence of these digital assets successfully provided a practical solution to increase promotional effectiveness and streamline communication with potential buyers. This program demonstrates that simple digitalization, such as creating a catalog, can be a significant first step in assisting local craft Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt and compete in the modern era.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Akhmad Suwindi, M. The partner groups initially lacked knowledge and skills in digital marketing, resulting in low product visibility and limited market reach. The program was implemented through three main stages: (1) socialization and training on digital marketing, (2) mentoring in developing attractive and informative promotional content and applying marketing strategies via Facebook Marketplace and local community groups, and (3) evaluation activities through pre-test and post-test assessments, direct observation, interviews, and analysis of online sales performance. The results show a significant improvement in partners' capacity, as indicated by an increase in digital marketing knowledge from 50% to 85%, stronger content creation skills, and a wider online market reach. The program also successfully supported the diversification of nutritious sago-based food products, thereby providing additional economic value to community groups. From an economic perspective, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the pillars for increasing family income and independence. In contrast, from a health perspective, the Family Planning (FP) program helps regulate the number and spacing of children to create healthy, prosperous families. This activity aimed to improve knowledge and family resilience through economic strengthening through MSMEs and to raise awareness of the importance of the FP program. The method used was direct instruction through lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The results of the community service activity showed an increase in respondents' knowledge after receiving counseling on MSMEs and FP. The average MSME knowledge score increased from 60.00 to 72.50 (p=0.002), while FP knowledge increased from 58.50 to 70.20 (p=0.004). The Paired t-test results indicated a significant difference (p<0.05), confirming that counseling was effective in improving respondents' knowledge. Increased MSME knowledge strengthens family economics through better business management, while increased FP knowledge helps families plan the number and spacing of children. Saving is an essential competency that should be introduced to children at an early age to foster a wise and responsible financial character in the future. This program is designed with a fun, interactive educational approach through various methods, including interactive lectures with PPT materials, showing educational videos on loving saving, making piggy banks from used materials, and saving simulations, as well as giving rewards in the form of stickers. The program was implemented during 1 meeting attended by all students at SD Negeri 57 Lanca, with a participation rate reaching 100%. Principal and teacher support, along with positive responses, also strengthened the program's success. However, there are challenges, including limited implementation time and the need for ongoing parental guidance to help children save in piggy banks so the habit of saving remains consistent. Thus, collaboration between schools and families is key to fostering positive financial habits from an early age. This program is expected to become an effective and sustainable model for promoting savings education in other early childhood education institutions.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jusri Jusri, Romi Adiansyah, Samsul Samsul, Wanda Wanda, Fitri Amilia, Astuti Muh. Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) offers a practical approach by leveraging physical interior design to minimize opportunities for criminal activity. This community service project aimed to implement fundamental CPTED principles within residential interiors as a preventive strategy against crime in densely inhabited neighborhoods. The partners in this initiative were residents of Jebres, Surakarta, a densely populated urban community vulnerable to security threats. The methodology combined education, design simulation, and case-based mentoring applied to selected residential units. Five core CPTED principles were adapted: natural surveillance, access control, territorial reinforcement, maintenance, and target hardening, all implemented through participatory engagement. The outcomes indicate that CPTED-integrated interior design significantly enhances residents' perception of safety and fosters greater community awareness and active participation in maintaining a secure environment. An interior design sensitive to security aspects serves as both an educational tool and a practical preventive measure. These findings underscore that design interventions at the residential scale yield meaningful social impacts. Applying CPTED at the household level not only improves physical security but also strengthens social cohesion. Therefore, the results of this service project are significant as a replicable model of design-based preventive strategies that can be adopted in other urban communities facing similar challenges.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Joko Budiwiyanto, Siti Badriyah, Raden Ersnathan Budi Prasetyo, Aditya Eko Adriantohttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11097Empowering Farmers through Fine Crumble Organic Fertilizer Innovation for Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Agriculture2025-10-10T14:20:08+00:00Bambang Ariyadibambang.ariyadi@ugm.ac.idViagian Pastawanviagian.pastawan@ugm.ac.idJoko Prastowojoko2465@ugm.ac.idYudhi Ratna Nugraheniyudhi.ratna.n@mail.ugm.ac.idWida Wahidah Mubarokahwida_wahidah02@yahoo.co.idBudi Utomobudi_utomo@polije.ac.idAan Awaludinaanawaludin@polije.ac.id
Munggang Wetan Hamlet, Sidoharjo Village, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo, is in the Menoreh Highhills region, which has great goat farming potential. Social stigma surrounding mental health exacerbates delays in detection and treatment. Healthcare services tend to focus on the physical aspects of pregnancy, while psychological aspects are often overlooked. However, social support from family, partners, and the community is crucial for maternal mental health. A lack of such support can increase the risk of postpartum depression, potentially affecting the baby's development. Therefore, education and early detection are essential in community outreach programs. This program included lectures, pre- and post-tests, the Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale, and discussions. Addressing this issue, this community service program aimed to enhance students' environmental awareness and practical skills in managing plastic waste by producing ecobricks, which were repurposed as eco-friendly plant pots to improve the school's aesthetic and ecological quality. Mercu Buana University implemented the program in collaboration with the Rawakalong Village Government to support SMKN 1 Gunung Sindur in achieving Exemplary Adiwiyata School status. The initiative combined participatory training sessions, hands-on Fs, and continuous mentoring, emphasizing the application of the 4R principles in the school environment. The results indicated a marked increase in students' engagement, knowledge, and skills in waste management, along with a measurable reduction in plastic waste volume. Ecobricks were successfully integrated into school greening activities, serving as both functional plant pots and tangible educational tools that reinforced sustainable behaviors. The program also contributed to the fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 3 and 7 and promoted experiential, community-based learning aligned with the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka initiative. This study demonstrates that ecobrick-based interventions can transform environmental challenges into educational opportunities, fostering sustainable practices and participatory learning among students. Moreover, the program highlights the potential to scale ecobrick initiatives across broader school and community contexts, supporting environmental stewardship and institutional commitment to sustainability. These findings provide practical and theoretical insights into integrating hands-on waste management strategies into school-based ecological education programs.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Euis Nina Saparina Yuliani, Hernadewita Hernadewita, Hermiyetti Hermiyetti, Syifa Ur Rahmihttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/10245Pembinaan Guru-Guru di Pulau Tidung Melalui Seminar Deep Learning pada Pembelajaran Abad 212025-11-22T10:28:46+00:00Ani Nur Aenianinuraeni@upi.eduNurdinah Hanifahnurdinah.hanifah@upi.eduKusman Rukmanakusmanrukmana@upi.eduAtep Sujanaatepsujana@upi.edu
Deep learning in a pedagogical context is an in-depth learning approach that involves essential understanding, emotional engagement, and the reinforcement of values and character. Major determinants of stunting extend beyond food consumption, yet few stakeholders focus on nutrition-sensitive interventions, including hygiene practices. This psychoeducation was conducted in a district where the prevalence of stunting is 56,8%; it aimed to improve mothers' knowledge of stunting risks and their attitudes and practices, especially regarding hygiene. A focus group discussion was conducted with local government officers, who observed increasing unwanted pregnancy cases. Pregnant teens usually do not go to Posyandu, leading to a higher risk of stunting when the child is born. Water scarcity was also cited as a major constraint on the community's ability to practice hygienic behaviour. Psychoeducation was delivered through lecture and interactive discussion with 52 participants. They understand stunting as a chronic undernutrition issue, but unhygienic practices were not recognized as a risk factor. Village Heads initiated a nutrition self-sufficiency innovation, asking community members to grow vegetables, raise livestock, and raise fish. Effective management of diabetes is crucial to prevent serious complications; however, many patients still have a limited understanding of how to control their blood sugar levels. This community service program aims to assess the effectiveness of an educational program in improving patients' knowledge about diabetes management at Puskesmas Genteng Kulon, Banyuwangi. The academic program is presented in a simple, easy-to-understand approach called DORMAN (Diet, Exercise, and Monitoring Active, Normal). This program utilizes various educational media such as leaflets, posters, and blood sugar monitoring tools. A total of 46 participants who met specific criteria were involved in this program. Program evaluation was carried out using knowledge questionnaires, program satisfaction surveys, and blood sugar monitoring forms. The results of this program showed a significant improvement in patient knowledge: more than half of the patients (52.2%) who initially had insufficient knowledge improved to a good level (80.5%) after participating in the educational program. Additionally, the blood sugar levels of patients who were initially abnormal, totaling 28 patients (60.9%), improved, with 30 patients (65.2%) achieving normal blood sugar levels after the education. These findings emphasize the importance of education grounded in clear, applicable information for self-management of diabetes. This program is expected to have a positive impact on community-level efforts to prevent diabetes complications.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Joko Prasetyo, Prima Dewi Kusumawati, Haswita Haswitahttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11296Enhancing Students’ Entrepreneurial Skills through Human-Skills-Based Training at SMK PGRI 2 Badung2025-11-05T03:45:45+00:00Linda Yupitahelmy@primakara.ac.idHelmy Syakh Alamhelmy@primakara.ac.id
Vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing graduates who are not only ready for employment but also capable of becoming entrepreneurs. There are problems with creating graphs for direct object motion analysis because the movement is fast, and there is a lack of supporting laboratory equipment, which hinders students from further interpreting the motion graphs. Tracker software can be used to determine the exact position and time of moving objects from video recordings of real events. However, students' knowledge of Tracker use remains minimal, and their graph-interpretation skills are also underdeveloped. Based on this, the purpose of this community service activity is to guide students in analyzing object motion using Tracker software, train students' graph-interpretation skills, and assess students' responses to the community service activity using Tracker in object motion analysis. The implementation of this community service consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Community service activities include providing materials, conducting demonstrations, completing practical assignments using Tracker in object motion experiments, interpreting graphs, and giving presentations. Limited understanding of the definitions, forms, and reporting mechanisms of sexual violence poses a major challenge to prevention efforts. Therefore, a community service program through a sexual violence prevention campaign was implemented to enhance students' awareness and capacity in creating a safe and inclusive campus environment. The three-month program consisted of three main activities: (1) online counseling and education through animated videos and posters; (2) a digital campaign using a short film uploaded on the university's social media platforms; and (3) student training to become peer educators. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in respondents' knowledge scores, with most students achieving higher intervals after the education sessions (50% at score 16 and 38.2% at score 17). In Talagasari and Selasari Villages, Ciamis Regency, the achievement of CHLB indicators remains suboptimal, particularly regarding the availability of healthy latrines and the practice of avoiding smoking indoors. This situation highlights the need for targeted interventions through education and community empowerment. The community service program was designed to improve knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to CHLB. The methods included health education sessions supported by booklets and mentoring by Posbindu cadres. Evaluation was carried out through pretests and posttests to assess cognitive and affective changes. The findings revealed a 13-point increase in knowledge and a 1.5% improvement in attitudes. These results demonstrate the program's effectiveness in enhancing community understanding, awareness, and support for CHLB implementation. Furthermore, the program is expected to serve as a concrete step toward fostering sustainable community health self-reliance.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Teguh Budi Prijanto, Mimin Kusmiyati, Elvi Trinovani, Yeni Hendriani, Cucu Fatimahhttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11630Pengembangan Produksi Pakan Ikan Hemat Biaya Berbasis Limbah Ikan Asin Lokal pada KUPS Perikanan Tanjung Sangalang2025-12-16T08:30:10+00:00Shinta Sylvia Monalisashinta_monalisa@fish.upr.ac.idRosita Rositarosita@fish.upr.ac.idLuqman Hakimluqman_h@mipa.upr.ac.idMade Dirgantaradirgantaramade@mipa.upr.ac.idAdittiyoe Adittiyoeadittiyoe030@gmail.com
This community service program aims to restore and improve the productivity of Nile tilapia culture in KUPS by developing appropriate technology for low-cost fish feed production using local low-grade salted-fish waste. The proposed solutions include: training on feed formulation and production using waste materials, such as substandard salted fish, through simple approaches that the community can operate; feed trials to evaluate the growth performance of Nile tilapia; entrepreneurship mentoring; and guidance on small-scale feed business management. The community service method adopts a participatory Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, involving stages of partner needs assessment, technical training, production practice, business mentoring, and collaborative evaluation. The activity involves at least 10 active participants from KUPS. Expected outputs include the development of an alternative feed and the establishment of an independent community-based feed production unit. The results of this program showed that participants' initial understanding of using low-grade salted-fish waste as a raw material for fish feed remained low. However, participants demonstrated positive responses to the activities, from the delivery of the material to the hands-on feed production practice. Overall, the post-test results indicated an improvement in participants' knowledge and understanding regarding independent fish feed production using Low-Grade Salted Fish (IABS). With this solution, it is expected that sustainable fisheries productivity recovery can be achieved, along with enhanced community economic self-reliance based on local resources.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Shinta Sylvia Monalisa, Rosita Rosita, Luqman Hakim, Made Dirgantara, Adittiyoe Adittiyoehttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11081Pelatihan Peningkatan Kualitas Produk Ramuan Tradisional Kabupaten Bangli, Bali2025-11-05T01:11:12+00:00Tutik Sri Wahyunitutik-s-w@ff.unair.ac.idRetno Widyowatirr-retno-w@ff.unair.ac.idNeny Purwitasarineny-p@ff.unair.ac.idAty Widyawaruyantiaty-w@ff.unair.ac.idAchmad Fuadachmadfuad@yahoo.comHadi Poerwonohadi-p@ff.unair.ac.idDewi Isadiartutidewi-i@ff.unair.ac.idMelanny Ika Sulistyowatymelanny-i-s@ff.unair.ac.idHelmy Yusufhelmy-yusuf@ff.unair.ac.idMarcellino Rudyantomarcellino-r@ff.unair.ac.idIdha Kusumawatiidha-k@ff.unair.ac.idTri Widiandanitri-w@ff.unair.ac.idDini Retnowatidini-r@ff.unair.ac.id
Bali is renowned as a tourist island rich in local wisdom, one of which is the traditional herbal remedy loloh cemcem from Penglipuran Village, Bangli Regency. This herbal drink has long been used to maintain health and alleviate internal heat. However, the loloh cemcem products produced by the local community still fall short of the standards for quality traditional medicine preparations, particularly in terms of product quality, packaging, and labeling. Through a community service initiative, activities such as observation, education, training, and mentoring were conducted for local entrepreneurs, focusing on proper selection of raw materials, hygienic production processes, safe packaging practices, accurate labeling of composition, and the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The training, attended by more than 20 participants from MSMEs and youth organizations (karang taruna), aimed to enhance public understanding of the benefits and importance of high-quality herbal products. It is hoped that loloh cemcem can evolve into a safe, high-quality, efficacious, and competitive traditional beverage. Furthermore, product innovation may serve as an alternative strategy for developing loloh cemcem preparations and expanding their recognition among the wider public.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Tutik Sri Wahyuni, Retno Widyowati, Neny Purwitasari, Aty Widyawaruyanti, Achmad Fuad, Hadi Poerwono, Dewi Isadiartuti, Melanny Ika Sulistyowaty, Helmy Yusuf, Marcellino Rudyanto, Idha Kusumawati, Tri Widiandani, Dini Retnowatihttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/10125Obesity and Diabetes Counseling for PPSU Officers in Kapuk Subdistrict, West Jakarta2025-07-01T01:46:52+00:00Alvina Alvinadr.alvina@trisakti.ac.idPusparini Pusparinidr.alvina@trisakti.ac.idMario Mariodr.alvina@trisakti.ac.idYasmine Mashabidr.alvina@trisakti.ac.idLie Tanu Merijantidr.alvina@trisakti.ac.id
Good performance and productivity of public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) officers will have a positive impact on public services. Work productivity is influenced by physical fitness, nutritional status, work capacity, and additional burdens imposed by the work environment. Each individual's work productivity may differ depending on their nutritional status. Poor dietary status generally affects health, activities, and work productivity. Nutritional status is also related to anthropometric conditions, which dietary habits may influence. The dietary intake of PPSU officers is sometimes not considered in terms of food portions. A dietary intake of too much carbohydrate may increase blood glucose levels, thereby potentially causing diabetes. Dietary intakes of high-fat and carbohydrate content may also cause obesity. Diabetes and obesity can affect work performance, reducing productivity. This can be a problem for the productivity of PPSU officers. The purpose of implementing Community Service (PKM) is to provide education on the concepts of blood glucose levels and obesity, and on prevention through blood glucose level and obesity control. This knowledge needs to be imparted to PPSU officers. such that they may pay more attention to food intake and control blood glucose levels and BMI, thereby preventing diabetes and obesity and increasing work productivity. The implementation of PKM was carried out through counseling and Q&A involving 52 PPSU officers in Kapuk subdistrict, West Jakarta. The counseling results showed an increase in knowledge of obesity and diabetes among PPSU officers. Continuous counseling is needed for PPSU officers to prevent obesity and DM and increase work productivity.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Alvina Alvina, Pusparini Pusparini, Mario Mario, Yasmine Mashabi, Lie Tanu Merijantihttps://journal.umpr.ac.id/index.php/pengabdianmu/article/view/11453Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Teknologi Pengemasan dalam Meningkatkan Nilai Tambah Produk Olahan Ikan pada Masyarakat Desa Burai2025-12-16T07:33:53+00:00Merynda Indriyani Syafutrimerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idIna Permata Sarimerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idCitra Defiramerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idSyifa' Robbanimerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idEka Lidiasarimerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idFriska Syaifulmerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idFilli Pratamamerynda@fp.unsri.ac.idSugito Sugitomerynda@fp.unsri.ac.id
Burai Village is one of the villages developed by Universitas Sriwijaya. One of the factors supporting the development of Burai Village into a Tourism Village is its traditional characteristics, such as culinary tourism and souvenirs made from processed fish products, including kerupuk, kemplang, pindang, tekwan, and pempek. In addition, fish products that can be developed in Burai Village include frozen foods such as nuggets and kaki naga. The processing and marketing of fish products from Burai Village are not yet supported by adequate packaging, which creates challenges for development, sustainability, and marketing. This community service activity aimed to improve the Burai Village community's knowledge, understanding, and skills in packaging technology for processed fish products. The method used was a lecture method, which involves the delivery and explanation of material accompanied by discussion and practical training in packaging processed fish products. The results showed that this activity could improve the understanding, knowledge, and skills of the Burai Village community, especially the women who are the target audience, regarding fish product packaging technology. There was a 61.25% increase in the target audience's understanding after the presentation of material on fish product packaging technology.
2026-02-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Merynda Indriyani Syafutri, Ina Permata Sari, Citra Defira, Syifa' Robbani, Eka Lidiasari, Friska Syaiful, Filli Pratama, Sugito Sugito
