The food industry experiences various serious problems when several food MSMEs (micro/small/medium enterprises), especially micro-scale ones, practice improper food manufacturing methods, such as the use of formalin and borax which are prohibited for food preservation, and the marketing of expired food, even repackaged, and the writing of halal labels that are not followed by the fulfillment of requirements. Efforts to prevent things that are detrimental to the community, as well as food and beverage MSME actors, are not only the responsibility of government agencies but also the entire community, including universities for education and assistance in improving the quality and quantity of products produced, as well as the quality of human resources of business actors.
Sasanti Wiyata Special School (SLB) is one of the special schools in Surabaya that has students with special needs. The results from the focus group discussion revealed the partners' issues, namely the lack of utilization of information and communication technology and the insufficient digital learning experiences for children with special needs. This community service activity aims to enhance the partners' skills in using digital-based learning methods and to improve the abilities of students with special needs in utilizing digital technology for learning. The method of implementing this community service is carried out by providing training, assistance, and evaluation of activities. The training and mentoring were measured using pre-tests and post-tests. The pre-tests and post-tests were processed using descriptive statistics, which showed an improvement in the understanding and skills of the teachers in creating, using, and integrating learning materials on the DXML (Difabel Experience Management Learning) platform. This platform serves as a tool that integrates the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Learning Experience Platform (LXP). The advantage (value proposition) of the synergy between the implementation of LMS and LXP is the customizable DXML that can be tailored to the characteristics of children with special needs at SLB Sasanti Wiyata, specifically those who are hearing impaired and intellectually disabled. From this activity, an increase in the skills of teachers and students in using the DXML digital platform was achieved, making the teaching and learning process easier. Therefore, this community service needs to be carried out continuously.
Avi SunaniAugustin Mustika ChairilMuhammad Muharrom Al HaromainyIn Naka Malik HardiansyahTheressa Marry ChristiantyAchmad Derajat Waskito

In 2023, data from Posbindu Delima, Sawangan Depok, showed that 37 residents had blood pressure ≥140/90 mmHg (hypertension), and 5 residents had already experienced complications from hypertension, such as stroke and heart disease. In response to this issue, a community service was conducted to help control the blood pressure of residents with hypertension by adopting a healthy lifestyle. The community service consists of three stages: disseminating guidelines for filling out the healthy lifestyle logbook and socializing the community service program, providing direct education and education using WhatsApp, and evaluating. The knowledge level, medication adherence, and health of residents with hypertension were measured before and after community service. The evaluation of healthy lifestyle implementation was based on logbook data. The 5-week community service was attended by 12 residents, most of whom (66.7%) were female with an average age of 60.6 ± 8.6 years. The community service results showed the knowledge level of residents increased significantly, but there was no statistical difference in medication adherence. After adopting a healthy lifestyle, there were significant health improvements, including increased residents with controlled blood pressure, weight loss, and reduced waist circumference. It can be inferred that the community service successfully increased knowledge and encouraged residents with hypertension to adopt a healthy lifestyle, resulting in controlled blood pressure.
Nurfitri BustamamNiniek HardiniCut Fauziah

As a form of participation of universities, which are members of LLDIKTI region III, for survivors of the eruption of Mount Semeru in Lumajang, East Java, a thematic community service program (KKNT) "Building the Country" has been held on November 12-25, 2023. One of the targets of the activity is SDN Sumberwuluh 02, Candipuro District, Sumbermujur Village. The school wall has been used as a mural containing educational messages on literacy and cultural literacy to motivate Mount Semeru survivor students to remain enthusiastic about learning and proud of the new environment and culture of the region. The stages of activities include preparation, mural painting activity, and monitoring-evaluation. The mural was completed in three days, involving students, lecturers, and teachers working together. The activity results show that the murals have been well drawn, attractive, and communicative. Combining images, text, and colors in murals with positive messages provides a cheerful atmosphere relevant to students' daily lives without ignoring Lumajang icons. Thus, literacy education murals are suitable for use in the school environment. The school is also helped by the promotion of the school through educational murals.
Sri Hapsari WijayantiRizal Bay KhaqiFarhan Feriyadi

Efforts to minimize the impact of landslides could be conducted by figuring out the mechanism of landslides so that mitigation could be prevented. Focusing on detailed mapping which potentially causes landslides should be increased continuously and entered into a database that is used for information on village profiles where it is usefully built up in the future. Mapping of landslides involved communities participating who are represented by the Community of Disaster Response (MASTANA) that needed to be developed in villages with huge landslides potentially. Landslide mapping is most important due to the source of maps that had been issued by the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG) ESDM has a small scale to reach village territory. The result shows that only MASTANA members prepared when a landslide occurred when it could be predicted based on a visual observation. Initial detection of landslides potential and notes on Geographic Information System are used to an information about landslides spread out.
Adi CandraSiswandi SiswandiIndra Permanajati

The aquaculture sector plays an important role in supporting food security and improving the community's economy. Aquaculture, especially in rural areas, has become one of the main pillars in providing protein sources for the community and also driving the local economy. This community service activity aims to improve the skills and independence of fish farmers in the Fish Farmers Group (PAKWALI) of Bakalan Village, Pasuruan Regency through the innovation of alternative floating paste feed based on local potential. The main problems faced by partners are the high cost of commercial feed and the lack of knowledge about making independent feed. The methods used include counseling, training, and assistance in making alternative feed. The main innovation is the development of floating paste feed that uses local raw materials such as tofu dregs and bran. The results of the activity showed an increase in the skills of partners in producing independent feed, with production cost efficiency reaching 40.3% compared to commercial feed. This alternative feed also increases the efficiency of nutrient absorption in fish and reduces feed waste. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in increasing the independence of fish farmers, reducing production costs, and encouraging more environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation practices.
Asus Maizar Suryanto HertikaEuis Elih NurlaelihRenanda Baghaz Dzulhamdhani Surya PutraMuhammad Asnin AlfarisiJumrotul AisyahAlvira Rizqi RahmadiaNauval Rifqi PranandaIkmal Fahmi Yudhistira

Challenges in financial management, such as the lack of understanding of financial statements, have become a major obstacle to the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Most MSME actors do not yet grasp the importance of preparing financial statements by Sharia accounting standards, resulting in financial statements that are often made haphazardly without following proper accounting principles. This Community Service Program aims to enhance the capacity of MSMEs under the guidance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Bandung in preparing Sharia-based financial statements. The focus of the training includes the introduction of basic Sharia accounting principles, recording transactions in line with Sharia contracts, and preparing financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Technical assistance is also provided directly to help MSMEs overcome difficulties in implementing a Sharia-based financial system. Survey results indicate that more than 70 percent of MSMEs in Bandung are interested in learning how to prepare Sharia-based financial statements, although they still face challenges in applying the correct methods. This program is expected to offer practical solutions for MSMEs to properly and accurately prepare financial statements by Sharia accounting standards. Moreover, the initiative aims to help MSMEs gain broader access to various Sharia financing institutions and enhance their competitiveness in the era of free trade.
Abdul RozakMinhajuddin MinhajuddinKhoirun Nisa BahriDhenahi Jerfiani WendiyanaRindu Damayanti

Stunting is defined as a chronic nutritional problem caused by a lack of adequate nutritional intake over an extended period. Iron is a vital component for cellular growth and development, as well as immune system function. The solution to overcoming iron deficiency is to consume highly nutritious foods, such as meat and green leafy vegetables. One such food is the kalakai plant. The Sungai Besar Village, Banjar Regency, is characterized by an abundance of natural resources that flourish in a wild state. Among these is the kalakai plant (Stenochlaena palustris (Burnm. F.) Bedd.), which is notable for its high iron content. The plant is employed solely as a vegetable. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance the competencies and understanding of PKK mothers in Sungai Besar Village about the diversification of processed kalakai plant products into millennial herbal medicine products. The methodology employed involved the preparation of the field, the counseling of the potential of kalakai leaves, and the training in the production of diversified kalakai leaves into millennial herbal medicine. The results and conclusions of this activity demonstrated an increase in knowledge of 85% and an 89% increase in the skills of PKK mothers in Sungai Besar Village in the diversification of kalakai leaves for the production of millennial herbal medicine derived from local Kalimantan plants.
Helmina WatiEka Fitri SusianiIbrahim Rully EffendiLiling TriyasmonoAgung NugrohoMuhammad Ikhwan Rizki

The marketing reach of bottled water is not so wide because it is constrained by several things, including marketing. Sales that are still conventional are trying to switch to digital media that is more widely distributed and supported by more attractive product packaging to reach a wider range of consumers. Training with lectures, discussions, practices, mentoring, and evaluation methods was chosen to solve existing problems. The results of the evaluation of the activity showed that the manager as well as the students were able to get to know, create social media, and at the same time market their products.
Effective population administration management is an important foundation in community development. Rukun Tetangga (RT) has a strategic role in managing data and providing administrative services. In Kereng Bangkirai Village, 23 Neighborhood Units are serving around 6,845 residents. However, administrative governance still shows shortcomings, such as low levels of education and understanding of administration as well as limited facilities and infrastructure. Urbanization triggered by the tourism potential in this area adds to the complexity of managing valid and up-to-date population data, especially in emergencies. Therefore, increasing the capacity of human resources at the level of RT is crucial. This community service program aims to provide training and assistance to the Chairman of the Neighborhood Units in population administration governance. This activity began with socialization about the importance of population data management, where the Population and Civil Registration Office provided material related to administrative services and digitalization. Furthermore, training on the use of Internet media and file storage in Google Drive was conducted, allowing participants to organize administrative files efficiently. The application of this technology is expected to improve partners' ability to manage documents, both physically and online. The results of this activity include a better understanding of population administration governance regulations and organized storage systems. This all contributes to improving community services and transparency in data management. In addition, support for facilities and infrastructure is also needed to improve administrative efficiency. Through collaboration between academics and the community, there will be an increase in public services and mutually beneficial synergy.
Ainun JariahSetio Ardy NuswantoroMuhammad UlfiMarga Tri Nuche WisneFirdana BawiRusita Rusita

Environmental problems, one of which is caused by human activities and in the form of waste, require special attention in managing, for example, organic solid waste. Organic waste problems are also among the environmental problems, for example in the city of Palangka Raya, which is affected by increasing population growth. Data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia shows that the amount of organic waste produced daily is 0.7 kg/person and 60% of its composition is organic waste. The method of implementing charitable activities is through socialization and demonstration, as well as the application of products to cultivated plants. The phases of the activities carried out include the preparation phase, the biomass crushing phase, the fermentation phase, the product harvesting phase, and the product application phase. The products of the service activities are solid organic fertilizer (compost) and liquid organic fertilizer (POC), i.e. the water produced during the decomposition process. The compost products are characterized by the fact that they are not sharp, brown, and moist. Hopefully, the charitable activities carried out can be easily applied by communities and organizations that need knowledge and implementation of charitable activities related to organic waste processing to alleviate environmental problems, such as the Muhammadiyah Organization of Palangka Raya City.
Pienyani RosawantiMuh.
80% of the population of Situbondo Regency Coastal Village work as fishermen. Fluctuating fishing results cause businesses to be processed so that they can be stored to fill the void of fishing results and improve the community's economy. The potential processed fish products at Bahari Beach are processed into fish crackers by several micro business groups consisting of residents, but unfortunately, the process of making crackers in all micro business centers still does not meet the principles of good occupational safety and health and does not wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) when producing. This research aims to improve knowledge related to occupational safety and health in all groups of micro-business centers in the Pesisir Village area. The training method includes coordination with target partners, preparing the needs of tools and materials during the program, and preparing learning modules that will be used as a reference in program implementation. The work stage is filled with materials and demonstrations. Finally, the evaluation stage.
Women's reproductive health is a healthy state both physically, mentally, and socially. One of the reproductive health problems experienced by many women in Indonesia is breast cancer. Breast cancer is a cause of death for women with a relatively high incidence rate in Indonesia when compared to other cancer cases. As many as 70% of breast cancer cases are only detected when they have reached an advanced stage, making treatment difficult. This community service activity aims to provide education regarding early detection efforts through breast self-examination (SADARI) and health checks which are risk factors for breast cancer. This activity uses the service learning (SL) method which is integrated into a research program regarding the analysis of reproductive health problems for women of childbearing age (WUS) in the workplace. This activity was carried out at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Jatinangor campus, which was attended by 5 female education staff. The results of the health examination showed that all participants had a normal body mass index (BMI) ranging from 21.2 to 24.4. The results of the vital signs examination showed that 1 participant had hypertension, 1 person had hypotension and 3 others were within normal limits. All participants can practice the awareness steps properly and correctly. Based on participants' suggestions and input, it is necessary to carry out regular reproductive health education activities with various topics so that women's reproductive health can be monitored well, especially for working women who spend most of their time at work.
Astuti Dyah BestariPuspa SariNeneng MartiniBudi Sudjatmiko

West Kotawaringin Regency has substantial potential, especially in tourism. This regency boasts international tourist destinations capable of attracting visitors. Such conditions should ideally drive the development of other industries in West Kotawaringin, including the culinary tourism sector. The culinary tourism industry in West Kotawaringin is largely driven by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). One SME group in this region, Kapitan Mandiri in Sungai Kapitan Village, has promising local fish-based products like amplang (fish crackers), fish chips, fish sticks, and more. However, product marketing has not been optimal due to limited digital literacy among its managers. This community service program aims to provide digital marketing assistance using the RACE (Reach, Act, Convert, Engage) framework to help Kapitan Mandiri design and implement a digital marketing strategy. The program consists of several phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Results show an increase in social media followers, audience engagement, and sales growth of 15-20%.
The government in Indonesia continues to focus its attention on the problem of stunting (shortness). In 2022, the prevalence of stunting was 31.2%. Meanwhile, in Aceh Besar Regency's Atong Village, 5% of children under the age of five were stunted. Infectious disease is one of the stunting risk factors that immunization can help avoid. Therefore, the aim of executing this community service in Atong village is to raise the community's knowledge and awareness of child vaccination in the future. The method conducted was Inter-Personal Communication (KAP), which has an instructional and engaging model. The implementation employed instructive entertaining games and songs to demonstrate the efficacy of immunization and its schedule. The respondents included adults and the elderly who will support childhood immunization today and in the future. The activity lasted one day and began with an introductory game, followed by listening to one another in the form of a critical thinking stage about the types of diseases that children suffer from, a stage of finding ways to maintain children's health, a learning stage about types of immunizations, and a commitment stage to carry out routine immunizations. There were 60 persons in attendance, and all of them were quite enthusiastic about learning. The KAP approach was successful in getting people interested in learning about immunization. KAP strategies should be used in various sensitive educational settings in the community.
Dharina BaharuddinNopa ArliantiArifah SyahirahRiza SeptianiWardiati WardiatiNa’imah Na’imah
