Pendidikan Jurnalisme Warga (Citizen Journalism) pada Siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Kalampangan, Palangka Raya: Citizen Journalism Education for Students at Muhammadiyah 2 High School Kalampangan, Palangka Raya Rosmilawati, Srie Handayani, Indah Tri Education Citizen Journalism Citizen Citizen journalism or citizen journalism can now be done by anyone, anywhere, without special knowledge in delivering the news. This can be a severe problem because some citizen journalists only deliver news that occurs around the real world without fulfilling the news elements, namely 5W + 1H, and do not understand the journalistic code of ethics. So that the news delivered can violate the rules in journalism. Citizen journalism education action is needed to solve problems in most people in Indonesia, especially among students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Kalampangan, Palangkaraya. For this reason, all students must be able to participate in making social media a means of journalism by using journalism principles such as writing procedures and journalistic code of ethics. This citizen journalism education program, is a program in educating high school students using social media to become professional citizen journalists and can be used as a reference for the community in Kalampangan in obtaining information around their environment. It is hoped that in the future, the students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palangkaraya can apply citizen journalism education into their daily life and be able to transmit it to the community around Kalampangan village. Optimalisasi Self Care Management Diabetes pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Parangloe Kabupaten Gowa: Optimization of Diabetes Self Care Management in Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Parangloe Health Center, Gowa Regency Asnaniar, Wa Ode Sri Munir, Nur Wahyuni Diabetes mellitus Self-care Diabetes self-management Education Management of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) aims to improve the quality of life for DM sufferers and reduce the risk of acute complications. Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) is a process that facilitates knowledge, skills, and abilities in self-care for DM patients based on evidence-based research. This activity aims to increase DM sufferers' knowledge and health status at Parangloe Health Center, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The DSME administration was carried out in three sessions with 45 minutes and carried out diabetic foot gym training. Besides, the blood sugar level is checked at any time. The results achieved were an increase in knowledge of DM sufferers by 63.4% regarding definitions, classifications, signs and symptoms, risk factors, DM complications, diet, physical exercise, types and benefits of drugs given, foot care, and 96% being able to do foot exercises for diabetic. Also, there was an increase in the understanding and skills of cadres about DM self-care management. DM patients are also expected to check their blood glucose regularly and use the DM Self-Care Manual that has been provided. Upaya Preventif Kehamilan Remaja dengan Pendidikan Kesehatan Mengenai Kesehatan Reproduksi pada Remaja di Kecamatan Indramayu: Preventive Efforts for Adolescent Pregnancy with Health Education on Reproductive Health in Adolescents in Indramayu District Aryanti, Mira Apriliani, Purwandyarti Anggita, Intan Preventive Health Education Youth One of the efforts to prevent teenage pregnancy incidence is health education about teenage pregnancy in Adolescence; it is hoped that health education can help government programs reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancy in the Indramayu Regency. The TEAM carries out community service activities from the STIKes Indramayu Midwifery Study Program, which was implemented in early July-August 2019, located in the Margadadi and Plumbon Puskesmas area (two Puksemas located in the Indramayu District Work Area). Community service aims to improve the thinking skills and understanding of junior high school students in preventing teenage pregnancy in health education. The implementation method by using leaflets/brochures and preparing reproductive health education materials. It can be seen that before the extension, there were 102 students (60%) with low knowledge results, 58 students (34.1%) with sufficient knowledge, and ten students (5.9%) with good knowledge results. In contrast, the knowledge obtained from counseling and discussion showed a significant increase in knowledge about adolescent reproductive health; the results were 147 students (86.5%) with good knowledge of 23 students (13.5%) with sufficient knowledge. There is a change or increase in students' knowledge about adolescent reproductive health, especially about teenage pregnancy prevention. It is hoped that this community service education can reduce maternal and infant mortality rates caused by adolescent pregnancy. Especially for milkfish, which has many thorns, causing people to be reluctant to consume and make processed milkfish a product of business choice. This phenomenon has led this service activity to introduce another alternative processing, namely thorn-pulled milkfish. Besides being comfortable, the tools used are relatively easy to get, and the price is not high. The processing of thorny milkfish can also be used as an alternative to increasing the economic value of milkfish, contributing to an increase in family income when engaged as a business route. The implementation of this thorn milkfish business management training activity showed that the participants had high enthusiasm. This was shown by the activity that the participants could independently remove or separate the milkfish from their spines. There is a growing desire to utilize thorns pulled milkfish as a source of family protein. Besides, the analysis of the thorn-pulled milkfish processing business also shows a potential opportunity as an alternative business in the context of strengthening the family economy. Berkebun Sayur dengan Teknik Vertikultur sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Ketahanan Pangan Santri Panti Asuhan Jatibening Bekasi: Verticulture Farming as An Effort for Food Security of Orphanage in Jatibening Bekasi Rahayu, Sri Ekawati, Dian Food Gardening Verticulture The level of vegetable consumption in Indonesia is shallow compared to the standards that have been set. Various factors contributed to the low rate of vegetable consumption, including economic factors and knowledge. Most of the santri at the orphanage in Jatibening consume fewer vegetables due to lack of knowledge and economic reasons. All students in this orphanage come from underprivileged groups, whereas since 2012, the orphanage has not received subsidies from the government for its operations. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for students at the Al Hidayah orphanage and provide vegetable plant verticulture to improve the students' food security. The method approach used is the active community participation (PAM) method in which the community is directly involved in activities. The pretest method stages, providing material, post-test, demonstration of making vegetable plant verticulture and redemonstration by students. The plants cultivated are mustard greens, spinach, and bean sprouts. The activity was held at the Al Hidayah Jati Bening orphanage on Sunday, 1 October 2017. This activity was attended by 20 participants from the Al Hidayah and Roisul Falah Jatibening orphanage Bekasi. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, it was obtained an increase in knowledge of 72.43%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge about verticulture and skills in making vegetable plant verticulture as demonstrated. This activity resulted in verticulture at the Al Hidayah orphanage that could be used by students at the orphanage to meet the need for vegetables. Bengkulu people, especially the Muara Bangkahulu district, do not yet have the skills and knowledge to use solar panels to meet their daily electricity needs. In this activity, the workshop was carried out on the use and solar panel installation technique that could be used as an alternative source of electricity. Participants were the residents of RT.20/01, Pematang Gubernur sub-district, Muara Bangkahulu district, Bengkulu City. The workshop consisted of three main parts; they were filling out the questionnaire, presentation, and practice of installing a solar panel. The questionnaire was given at the time before and after the material and practice were done. Some household products that are using solar energy were delivered during the presentation. The next step was the installation practice of solar panels and their components. The questionnaire result shows that participants are attracted to use the solar panel as alternative electric energy. In addition, the community who initially has a limitation of knowledge to install a solar panel, after the workshop is carried out, they have the skill for that installation. In interacting emotions always appear in someone's, then bring up an attitude and mind to act according to his circumstances. The ability to act then raises an emotional expression. One of them is the expression of angry emotions, this is one of the problems that arise in every teenager (student). This training took place in MuhammadiyahYunior High School Palangkaraya on the grounds of the results of observations and interviews from class teachers and school counselors, based on the results of a questionnaire about the knowledge of angry emotions in pretest is in a low category, no similar training had been conducted at school. The results of this training activity show that there is an increase in the average value of students' understanding of recognizing angry emotions. This means the pretest score is 91.8 (medium category) and the posttest average is 127.28 (high category). The coverage of lies or hoaxes is the focus of attention, especially in online media. Hoax is information that is engineered to cover up real information. Based on the Community Service Team's interviews and observations with partners, PCA members and administrators are acting as consumers of mass media, especially TV and internet media, namely WA, as daily information media. In its management activities, media literacy has never been carried out, even though media literacy needs an empowered and information literate society. Thus, Community Service will be carried out through this community service activity in the form of Empowerment of Aisyiyah Ngampilan Branches through Healthy Media Literacy. The method carried out by the community service team is workshops related to the importance of media literacy in dealing with hoaxes; media literacy assistance in dealing with hoaxes; digital-based "Tabayun on information to be smart as a media literate person"; making a guide book for Healthy Media Literacy; Smart As Media literate individuals face hoaxes"; providing facilities for the Aisyiyah Ngampilan Branch office that can be used to support management activities of the Aisyiyah Ngampilan Yogyakarta Branch. Part of the Pelambuan area is still a slum area because there is no drainage, garbage problems, sanitation, etc. So it needs awareness and the role of community members to love the environment and live healthily. Thus, the residents must be given an understanding of the integrated environmental drainage system (ecodrain) in residential areas to maintain and create a healthy environment. In principle, ecodrain is a program to restore and improve the quality of urban drainage flow from pollution caused by garbage or wastewater due to the indiscipline of urban residents who throw garbage or wastewater into channels or rivers that cross urban areas. Handling of drainage, which is carried out in an integrated manner by handling waste and wastewater with an environmentally sound concept (ecodrain), can be carried out in the following ways: installation and operation of waste filters, application of proper waste management with the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) community-based, community-based sanitation improvement (Sanimas), river water quality restoration through bioremediation, construction of rainwater catchment wells to reduce the volume of rainwater runoff that will flow into drainage channels and rivers. Sri Ratna Anggorowati, Lindra Hariyanto, Hendri Mentari, Trinita Septi Kumalasari, Lia Diah Sulistiana, Rina SIMANIS Active case finding Pre-DM SIDIA card Public Health Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease that contributes to the cause of death. Based on the analysis of the situation in Kawengen Village, Semarang Regency, there were several problems related to the incidence of DM, including the Non-Communicable Disease Integrated Guidance Post Program (Posbindu PTM), which was not running optimally. Based on these problems, it is necessary to form a movement called the Anti-Diabetes Mellitus Community Alert Movement (SIMANIS). Active case finding and detection of pre-DM cases aim to capture people who already have pre-DM symptoms, but they do not know. Furthermore, if caught, they can be followed up so that they are willing to go to the health service unit before complications occur. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out in four stages, namely the formation of SIMANIS cadres, education on prevention and control of DM to SIMANIS cadres and the community, ToT on how to fill in and use the SIDIA Card (pre-diabetes screening) to SIMANIS cadres, and use of the SIDIA Card for early detection active case finding pre-DM. There was an increase in the pre-post education knowledge score from 7.59 + 1.5 to 8.93 + 0.9 and an increase in the pre-post education attitude score from 7.96 + 1.22 to 9.07 + 0.78. SIMANIS through the use of the SIDIA Card can be used to increase public awareness in prevention, early detection, and case finding of DM. Karakteristik Pasien Rawat Inap Meninggal ≥48 Jam Dirawat: Pelatihan Penelitian bagi Perawat: Characteristics of Inpatient Died ≥48 Hours of Care: Research Training for Nurses Fajarini, Melati Rahayu, Sri Net Death Rate Inpatient Training Research Evidence-based practice Nurses need data on patient mortality ≥48 hours of care, but nurses' skills to get these data are lacking. Nurses' lack of skills to produce scientific evidence is one of the obstacles to evidence-based practice (EBP). Research training for nurses is carried out to overcome obstacles and answer research problems. Research mentoring training was carried out for three days in June 2019 using the EBP stage. 10 nurses participated in this training. The training results reported that all nurses could plan, carry out, and report the results of the research. The research that nurses conducted was a retrospective study to collect data from 62 medical records of patients who died ≥48 hours of treatment in March-May 2019. The results of the nurse's study found that most of the patients were male (51.6%), aged over 45 years ( 66.1%), died with a medical diagnosis of Tuberculosis (27.4%), stroke (17.7%), HIV (12.9%), and with an indication of being hospitalized in the ICU (53.2%). Through training for three days, nurses can produce scientific evidence and provide recommendations for improving hospital management services. Essential research training is carried out in clinical areas to improve evidence-based practice, which in turn can improve the quality of care and health status of patients. The method of implementing PKM activities consists of socialization, seminars, training, mentoring, and implementation. Participants in PKM activities are science teachers of SMP and equivalent who are members of the MGMP IPA of SMP Kota Singkawang. Workshop Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter bagi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SMP: Workshop on Strengthening Character Education for Junior High School Guidance and Counseling Teachers Sugianto, Akhmad Guidance and counseling Middle school teacher Character building Guidance and Counseling Workshop on Strengthening Character Education in Guidance and Counseling Services for Junior Secondary Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Tabalong Regency was carried out to prepare guidance and counseling teachers who were capable of implementing guidance and counseling services in strengthening character education based on operational guidance and counseling in schools, by the Guidance and Counseling Guidelines for Primary and Secondary Education issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The workshop was held one day, namely on August 26, 2019, with 37 participants. Technically, the implementation of the workshop takes place in 5 stages of activities, namely registration; lectures; sharing experiences; and questions and answers practicum. Resource persons for the workshop activities were lecturers in the guidance and counseling study program. Based on the implementation of this service, it can be concluded that guidance and counseling teachers have an essential role in strengthening character education by using guidance and counseling services based on the Operational Guidance and Counseling Implementation Guidelines. Therefore, it is suggested to be followed up into technical guidance activities in implementing guidance and counseling services with a more specific activity agenda; and become a preliminary study in making guidance and counseling service modules for strengthening character education based on Operational Guidance for Guidance and Counseling Implementation. Implementing the new normal after the COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged people to do activities as before, with the obligation to implement strict health protocols. However, the incidence of COVID-19 in Indonesia continues to increase, as is Konawe Regency as the district with the first positive case report of COVID-19 in Southeast Sulawesi and currently has six sub-districts with red zone status. This is because many people are not aware of carrying out the government's appeal in implementing health protocols. This community service aims to increase public knowledge in efforts to control COVID-19 by applying health protocols. Educational activities carried out online through online media include video conferencing in the form of a webinar through Google Meet was attended by 86 participants, live streaming on social media Facebook and Instagram, broadcasting educational videos on local TV channels, and conducting offline activities in the form of installing educational posters. Education through online media is one of the uses of internet technology, and its reach is wide and can be a solution for education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis results show that education through online media effectively increases public knowledge regarding COVID-19 and the application of health protocols in the normal new era. The problem faced by households in fulfilling family food is dependence on purchases due to limited land for food production. One solution to overcome this problem is to develop urban agricultural activities to support food self-sufficiency. It's just that PKK members do not have knowledge of urban farming, how to apply it, and the infrastructure is limited. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out to solve this problem by conducting counseling and training on urban farming, providing assistance with production facilities in the form of seeds, seedlings, polybags, wall bags, pots, and planting media. In addition, there was also assistance in implementing urban farming for women members of the PKK. Due to a lack of attention and support from the village government, the pottery craft of the Panjamgrejo tourism village is not as popular as the Kasongan village. Dragon fruit farmers in Samboja District, especially members of the women's farmer group in Sei Merdeka Village, face several problems. When they enter the harvest period, dragon fruit is attacked by plant pests. Dragon fruit is only a few and is supplied by middlemen who are also buyers of the dragon fruit harvest. Middlemen buy the dragon fruit at a meager price compared to market prices. On the other hand, farmers cannot sell dragon fruit themselves directly in supermarkets or in traditional markets. This PKM activity will provide training on how to plant dragon fruit, so that plant pests do not attack it to partner members of the women farmer groups and PKK women's groups. This effort can break the dependence of women farmer group members on middlemen. The PKK group of women who became partners in this activity was given knowledge and skills for further dragon fruit cultivation; the results of this cultivation were processed into various commercial food products, such as noodles, jam brownies, jelly, and syrup. The results and outputs of this PKM activity increase the knowledge and skills of members of the women farmer groups and PKK women in processing dragon fruit into various processed food products. It is known that teachers still lack competence, and teachers are still unfamiliar with how to operate various menus and functions that can be used in a spreadsheet program to complete company financial reports. Based on this condition, the teaching and learning process for subjects has been done more with the lecture method and a little practice. So that this affects the competence of SMK graduates. In fact, the guidance for the world of work requires SMK graduates to operate this application program properly. The community's activity was carried out for two days on 18 and 19 September 2020 at SMKN 2 Kota Padang. The implementation is carried out in three stages, namely material presentation, integrated training, and evaluation. At the end of the activity, it was known that there was an increase in the understanding of the participants regarding the preparation of financial statements of trading companies using Microsoft Excel with a case settlement value that could be achieved was 85.71%. Furthermore, this increase in teacher competence is expected to be transferred to students and is reflected in the value of UKK and the acceptance of graduates in the world of work. The problems faced during the Covid 19 pandemic have forced everyone to keep quiet and work from home so that everyone tries to take advantage of this free time with productive activities. One of these activities is gardening at home using household waste. To make this happen, from April to September 2020, the community service team conducted counseling and training and practices for the Amuktiwo Ngubo farmer group, Kestalan sub-district, Banjasari District, Surakarta City, Central Java. The results of the program show that the Covid 19 pandemic forces every citizen, especially partner groups, to do activities at home, which results in a lot of free time available, so gardening at home by using household waste as a planting medium is the most appropriate solution because the environment is clean and healthy. The crop yields can meet the needs of the kitchen, which results in reduced expenses. Also, if this program is implemented nationally, the goal of community food security will be achieved. This activity is designed in the form of training through several stages, namely 1) coordinating with partner schools for implementation time, 2) providing material related to simple mathematics and science practicum, 3) Mentoring for Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in designing simple practicums, and 4) program evaluation. Participants in this activity were several Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers from SMP N 1 Nekamese, SMP N 2 Nekamese, SMP N 4 Nekamese, and SMP N 5 Nekamese. In the training activities, the participants were quite enthusiastic in participating in the activities, which could be seen from the enthusiasm to participate in the activities and dynamic discussions. Results of the initial assessment found that young people in Bubutan are interested in the field of entrepreneurship. Still, unfortunately, most of them did not have basic entrepreneurial knowledge and skill. Also, the limited knowledge of residents about animal feed fermentation has made residents only provide feed with ordinary grass, which is only found in the rainy season. So that during the dry season, residents have to buy feed elsewhere at a higher cost. The not yet optimal marketing of agricultural products and development is also an obstacle for Sikepan residents. Thus, it is necessary to have a community service program that is expected to help the people of Sikepan Hamlet reduce the problems they are facing. Through the method of extension, education, and assistance to develop public knowledge to recognize and utilize agricultural knowledge about animal feed fermentation and education about post-harvest online marketing in Sikepan Hamlet, it is necessary to do it. In the production process, the sago plants used are 7-8 years old. The productivity of sago palms in Pemakuan Laut village is around 200 kg starch/stem with a selling price of Rp. 3,500/kg in wet conditions and Rp. 7,500/kg of dry sago flour. Sago processing waste has not been utilized yet by the community even though the waste can still be used for other purposes such as animal feed, hardboard, fuel, plant growth media, and fertilizer. Sago waste is a problem in the Pemaku Laut village environment because the waste has accumulated while the location for disposing of it is limited. Therefore, in this community service activity training was carried out in making animal feed (poultry) using sago dregs. The method used is fermentation. From the activities carried out, it was known that all the participants had started to utilize sago dregs, but the preliminary process had not been carried out, the dregs were directly given to livestock. In this training, sago dregs processing is carried out using the fermentation process. From the training, it can be seen that the community already knows the process of processing the dregs before giving it livestock to increase its nutritional value. The shrimp paste made from this fish processing center is of lower quality than similar products on the market. The varying size of the raw materials is a significant problem in shrimp paste production in this business hub. This activity aimed to improve the quality of the shrimp paste product by introducing and enhancing the partners' skills in using grinders and shrimp powder for rebon shrimp in making rebon shrimp paste. The method of this service activity consists of training, monitoring, and evaluation of the activities. This activity showed that the partners had received training on the production of shrimp paste and its quality and the use of grinding machines and machines for boiling shrimp meal. During the partner monitoring period, it became apparent that the partners had switched the technology from manual production of shrimp paste to machine production. The evaluation results show that the partners are familiar with grinding and grinding machines in making Rebon shrimp paste. The resulting products are of higher quality than those made before the partners used the shrimp grinding shrimp flour machines. The conclusion is that the use of grinding and flour machines for rebon shrimp by partners has increased the production capacity by three times and increased the quality of the rebon shrimp paste. The potentials were tourist villages, herbal medicines, BUMDes (fishing, paving block factory construction, hydroponics, and waste sorting). Currently, Wirokerten village had four hectares of land for fisheries which BUMDes manage. However, some things were a problem for the fish breeder group: the absence of water filters for pools so that the water was free from harmful bacteria, water that lack oxygen in each pool, so it could not be used for fish breeding, and lack of lighting at the location of the pool, because the lighting was taken from residents' homes by pulling long cables while the distance from residential areas was quite far. The solution to these problems requires supporting technology to realize the expectations of fish farmer groups, namely portable aerators and pool lighting and water filters to sterilize waste in pool water reservoirs. The purpose of this community service was to help fish farming groups to be able to do fish breeding and rearing independently with the help of aerators and portable lighting and to be able to filter water in pool water reservoirs before it flows into each pool plot. However, some SMEs failed in the middle of their business road or are unable to develop. This condition also occurs in SME of Al-Barkah Laying HenFarm. The purpose of implementing this program is to increase business capacity both from the production and management aspects of the Al-Barkah layer chicken business. The method used in overcoming these problems and achieving goals is by providing direct training, guidance, and application of science and technology. All activities were carried out jointly by the owners and employees of UKM Partners, guided by the implementation team. After implementing the program, the SME partner now: (1) understands and can conduct business planning; (2) can carry out business effectiveness and efficiency; (3) can increase understanding of the importance of order in the livestock business process; (4) Understands the importance of hygiene and cage sanitation; and (5) can increase the chicken health, egg production, and farmer income. The conclusion from the program implementation is that the Al-Barkah layer chicken business has increased production by 15% and an increase in business efficiency by 12% as a result of improvements in production and business management aspects. Ali Fradianto, Ikbal Priyono, Djoko Hypertension Community empowerment Health education Community Empowerment Hypertension is a non-communicable disease with an increasing incidence, especially in the elderly. One of the reasons is that many sufferers do not routinely even take medication after experiencing hypertension. In addition to medication, dietary factors can also increase the risk of an increase in blood pressure. Community service is expected to be able to help health problems independently. Community empowerment is carried out by introducing regional conditions, introspective surveys, deliberation, participatory planning, implementation of activities, and sustainability development. The implementation is carried out by providing health education about hypertension diet and medication adherence by using poster media entitled “CAT HITAM” during a pandemic, before and after the activity, pretest-posttest is carried out to determine dietary knowledge and medication adherence for hypertension sufferers, Health Education regarding activities that can be done, recommended food consumption, and medication adherence that hypertension sufferers must adhere to during a pandemic. The pretest-posttest results showed differences in knowledge of diet and medication before and after health education with a p-value <0.05. Dietary problems from the results of community assessments are mostly about the limits of salt consumption for hypertension and treatment. Most of the respondents said they stopped treatment because they felt they had no complaints. It needs cooperation from various parties to continuously motivate the elderly to follow the rules of diet and treatment of hypertension. The potential for large cayenne pepper productivity is around 523 tons, but most members of the Farmers Group still prioritize farming with rice-rice-palawija and rice-rice-tobacco cropping patterns. Meanwhile, cayenne pepper as a local potential has not become a priority because of the lack of technical knowledge about cayenne pepper cultivation. This group has several needs in terms of assistance and economic empowerment through farmer group institutions. Through group-based institutions, farmers can get counseling and assistance related to the cultivation of cayenne pepper in an integrated manner by utilizing their yards. Service activities are carried out through socialization of service programs, providing integrated cayenne pepper cultivation assistance, conducting counseling related to institutional strengthening of farmer groups, and monitoring and evaluation. Farmers' responses to the implementation of the mentoring program showed that the participants' perception of the cayenne pepper cultivation technique was good, and the women agreed that there would be a Women Farmers Group formed. In improving the quality of healthy life in everyday life, it is necessary to have more extensive knowledge about GERMAS to implement it. Therefore, further education needs to be done one of them by doing physical activity through elderly exercise. The goal in the intervention of community service activities is to improve the health status of the elderly. The method used in this intervention is counseling. The stages are lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and elderly exercises. The intervention target was the elderly in Sorowajan Hamlet who was very enthusiastic and gave positive responses and actively participated in this activity. Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Hortikultura di Lahan Pasir melalui Pemanfaatan Kayambang (Salvinia molesta) sebagai Trichokompos: The Empowerment of Horticultural Farming Communities on Sandy Lands to Make Use of Kayambang (Salvinia molesta) to become Trichocompost Mulyani, Rahmawati Budi Supriati, Lilies Melhanah, Melhanah Kresnatita, Susi Trichocompost Salvinia molesta Sandy land Empowerment Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Rukun Bersama Lebak swamp weeds such as Kayambang (Salvinia molesta) grow abundantly. They can be used as compost, which effectively improves soil fertility, increasing nutrients N, P, and P K quickly and environmentally friendly. The effectiveness of compost fertilizer needs to be increased by adding indigenous microbes as decomposers and biological agents to control plant diseases. The activities carried out to empower horticultural farmer groups on sandy land in Tanjung Pinang Village, Palangka Raya are through socialization, training in composting with three types of antagonist fungus Trichoderma sp. (Trichocompost), facilitate the procurement of weed chopping machines, assist farmers in horticultural crop cultivation, and increase farmers' independence in self-supporting organic fertilizers. The use of Kayambang as Trichocompost with microbial decomposers and indigenous biological agents is new knowledge for partner farmers. The application of Trichocompost on the demonstration plots shows that eggplant plant growth and yields are excellent, meaning that Trichocompost can improve the fertility of sandy soils. Farmers participating in the training stated that the use of Trichocompost could reduce farming costs because it can substitute for manure that has been used by farmers and can meet the self-help needs of organic fertilizers. Participants wanted an advanced mentoring program because the farmers had not yet mastered the isolation or propagation of biological agents and decomposer microbes. One of the main obstacles is the physical and psychological conditions of the postpartum mother. The low self-confidence of the mother about the success of breastfeeding can reduce the production of mother's milk. This condition greatly inhibits the release of breast milk, so that it impacts the risk of failure to achieve exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this activity is carried out as an effort to prepare pregnant women in the third trimester of exclusive breastfeeding. The methods used in this activity are lectures, demonstrations, and practices. The results of this activity were attended by 30 pregnant women in the third trimester. During the activity, the mothers were very enthusiastic; this was evident in the increase in their knowledge before and after being given information. This then led to the birth of an evidence-based policy (EBP) concept that is trusted and has been proven to increase policy success. Unfortunately, this concept has not yet reached the village government level. Therefore, this community service aims to socialize this concept and put it into practice by taking a case study on the environmental resilience index as one of the compilations of the village developing index (IDM). We took a case study in Desa Lorok, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir for several reasons, such as governance and their readiness to accept this new concept. However, chili price fluctuation, especially during the harvest season and exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, sometimes causes farmers to experience losses since there is a limited alternative of chili processed products. This community service aims to find an alternative of chili processed products to increase the added value of chili and as an alternative to increasing farmers' income during a pandemic. The methods used are survey, observation, and training. The result of this community service program is the development of processed chili products in the form of chili powder which can be an alternative to processed chili-based products when the chili price falls. This activity involves the Women Farmers Group as well as enlivens the group activities. Besides, the implementation of various government policies to break the chain of distribution of COVID 19, on the other hand, has had a negative impact. This community service aims to provide education to the community, especially in the teaching group Aisyiyah Kereng Bangkirai in the form of socialization and spiritual guidance to reduce anxiety and worry about Covid-19. The implementation method offered is spiritual guidance to deal with stress problems due to the Covid-19 pandemic by delivering material from an Islamic religious perspective and a psychological perspective. The results of this dedication show that there is anxiety among the community due to Covid-19 which has a psychological impact and that impact also affects the joints of community life, both socio-economic, socio-cultural, and socio-religious. The target of this activity is traders in the Pasar Besar City of Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and awareness in implementing health protocols in the market in order to accelerate the prevention of handling COVID-19. The method of this activity is by conducting surveys through questionnaires, providing education and training/demonstrations in implementing health protocols in the market, and distributing leaflets, masks, and hand sanitizers. There are 3 components of the test given, namely the integration test (IST), job interest (Kuder test), and personality test (EPPS). The combination of these three tests is called a battery test which results in a psychological report containing a psychogram regarding personal aspects, psychological descriptions, strengths, and weaknesses as well as recommendations for the appropriate field of work. This activity is planned to be carried out in non-school institutions such as courses or tutoring institutions. Based on the evaluation of self-assessment, it shows that participants are able to understand their personal condition along with their strengths and weaknesses, personal areas that need to be developed, and recommendations for higher education majors that are in accordance with their talents, personal interests of participants, evaluation of assessments of training activities shows the results that this training provides benefits to participants, especially regarding college recommendations and assessment of presenters where the presenters are considered good enough in delivering activity material. When facing the Covid-19 outbreak, their business has stopped operating for the last four months because the price of raw chicken is very high. Therefore, it is necessary to provide other technological innovations so that they can continue to develop these businesses. The potential of catfish as a raw material for chicken substitutes in this village is available because the price is lower and easy to obtain at the Martapura market. The purpose of this activity is to utilize catfish in meatball processing. The methods used are counseling, demonstration, participatory and mentoring. The results obtained from the implementation of service are partners can utilize catfish as an effort to use cheaper and easier raw materials in meatball processing, increase chicken meatballs production capacity through processing catfish meatballs, and processing catfish meatballs as a diversification solution for processed meatball products with fill healthy vegetables in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. With regard to learning, the use of information technology, in this case, e-learning, is needed not only for educators who are skilled at utilizing technology and technology for the manufacture of teaching materials, but a design is needed to carry out learning effectively. In a learning design (instructional design) there is a process to guide actors (actors) to design, develop, implement e-learning content by utilizing the available e-learning infrastructure and applications. At the next stage in the implementation of e-learning, there is an evaluation stage which is used to revise or adjust to the previous stages. A good educational institution must develop teachers by providing various facilities to support the teaching and learning process. Teachers can replace it with a new method in the form of video or audio that has been combined with the teaching material they want to convey. As technology develops, mobile or smartphone versions of e-Learning can be compatible with the features available in conventional learning so that the quality of content in the form of subject matter can be accessed properly. All areas in this province are now in red zone status. This transmission is very fast spreading, so we are doing outreach to the community at Budi Mulya Orphanage, Palangka Raya City, implementing 6 recommended handwashing steps to kill the Covid 19 virus that sticks to our fingers. Washing hands with soap is one of the sanitation measures to prevent disease. Even WHO also recommends 6 steps in washing the palms of hands, the palms of backs of hands, between the fingers, the backs of hands, the thumbs, and the tips of fingers. The last method of washing hands is to clean soap with running water and dry it. To support the 6-step handwashing program, we are working with the orphanage's leadership to make a table for a water storage basin used for washing hands. The table is made permanent, made of reinforced concrete, whose composition of the reinforced concrete mixture is mixed with processed rattan waste that is no longer used as a substitute for concrete fiber. The rattan waste mixture used was 0.25% of the total volume of concrete. This virus attacks all ages and groups indiscriminately, such as adolescents, parents, young children, students, business people, institutions, etc. COVID-19 physically attacks a person and attacks the economy of a person, company, and country. A person who lacks skills will have difficulty surviving this pandemic. So it is necessary to hold training from various agencies, such as the government and universities. The Community Service Team of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya held training for students of SMKN 3 Palangkaraya majoring in Fashion Design. This training guides students in producing masks that are environmentally friendly and how to market them effectively and efficiently. Since teaching and learning activities have been disrupted since the arrival of COVID-19, training in producing masks and distributing materials on environmentally friendly literacy, marketing, and learning has been carried out online using the Zoom application. The tutorial was demonstrated by professional tailors and recorded directly by the team, then distributed to SMKN 3 Palangkaraya. The student produces masks with a guide or guidance, according to the video. After finishing production, they get material contains reasons for using splash cloth, protecting the environment, and market the product effectively and efficiently. The quality of school resources, parental resources, online media, and internet access does not support the learning process, causing children to find it challenging to understand school subject matter. This socio-cultural-educational problem should not be left without efforts to solve the problem because the nation's children are the hope and successor in a prosperous future of Indonesia. The Unsri community service team helped solve this educational problem by conducting socialization and internalization of socio-cultural-educational. This community service activity was carried out at the Village Hall, Kalampadu Village, involving 32 participants consisting of parents, teachers, students, community leaders, and the village government. This method is carried out by delivering material and direct practice to the participants of service activities. The results of these activities are full of practice from Parsons' structural, functional theory. Every series of events from beginning to end fits perfectly with the AGIL scheme in socializing and internalizing educational norms. Welcoming remarks as a process of re-adaptation, delivery of material according to the re-integration scheme, and a question-and-answer and interactive process is applying all elements of adaptation-achievement of goals-integration-maintenance of patterns. Peningkatan Pengetahuan tentang Pencegahan Infeksi dan Penyebaran Penularan COVID-19 di Panti Asuhan/LKSA Darul Tazkiyah Kota Palangka Raya: Increasing Knowledge about Prevention of Infection and Spread of COVID-19 Transmission in the Darul Tazkiyah Orphanage/LKSA, Palangka Raya City Purbayanti, Dwi Ardina, Rinny Suryadini, Halida Covid-19 Knowledge Orphanage COVID-19 infection regardless of age. It can infect children, adults, and older adults. Children and older adults are high-risk groups of infection. An orphanage where many children live in one place with a high risk of transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Education about prevention of infection and the spread of COVID-19 transmission at Darul Tazkiyah orphanage Palangka Raya was needed. The implementation methods included a pre-test, education about COVID-19, post-test, and submission of calendars containing information on prevention of COVID-19, posters, betel leaf extract hand sanitizers and health protocols banners. A total of 46 orphanage children became respondents. The paired sample t-test showed that p-value (0.000) <0.05. It meant there was a difference between pre-test and post-test results, which meant there was an increasing children's knowledge about prevention of infection and the spread of COVID-19 transmission at Darul Tazkiyah Orphanage, Palangka Raya. Based on the results of the service activities carried out, it showed that providing education can increase children's knowledge about how efforts to prevent transmission of COVID-19, so it is hoped that this increased knowledge can minimize transmission of COVID-19 and help government programs to reduce positive cases of COVID-19 in Palangka Raya in particular. Teachers provide more one-way information and assignments to students without feedback, resulting in boredom for students studying online. Therefore, one solution is given through the startup project leadership (SPL) program. This activity was held on October 31 - November 27, 2020, at three elementary schools: SDN Mangkura III Makassar, SDN 234 Barambang II Maros Regency, and SD IT Asshiddiq Bone Regency, involving as many as 40 students. The results of the activity can be concluded that the SPL Program is a collaborative action of teachers in innovating to create quality education in the pandemic era consisting of 3 stages: Incubation which is the initial planning carried out by designing joint activities with students and parents related to the problems faced by students and solutions that will be applied; Startup which is an active activity for program realization agreed at the incubation stage; and Mobilization which is the final stage through process reflection, evaluation, and conclusion drawing, as well as follow-up to the results of program realization that have been carried out. The implementation of SPL is running well according to the time and targets that have been determined and can increase learning productivity during pandemics. Therefore it needs various supports from various parties, especially families, in increasing the independence of the elderly in fulfilling daily activities so that the elderly can maintain their health as optimal as possible. The results showed that increased knowledge about good family support and awareness of the elderly in doing their own independent activities would improve the quality of life of the elderly in their old age. There are two evaluations carried out in this community service: pre-test and post-test evaluation. For the pre-test results of 30 participants, 45% are good, and 55% are not good after the activity process is carried out; the post-test gets 90% good and 10% less good. The media used includes household waste, such as used bottles, buckets, hoses, pots, paralon, stove wicks, and other household items. This technique can be applied to the yard of the house to produce vegetables for the family. The purpose of the service is that the Mungku Baru Village Community can optimize their yards for agricultural crop cultivation using a floating raft hydroponic system and duck bucket to improve food security during the Covid-19/post-covid-19 pandemics. The activity was carried out in Mungku Baru Village, Rakumpit District, Palangka Raya City in August 2020. The method of this activity is by way of counseling and workshops or extension activities, and the practice of making simple hydroponics statically, namely by explaining simple hydroponic cultivation techniques directly and demonstrating them, and activity participants are given simple hydroponic cultivation pamphlets as a guide to hydroponic techniques in their homes. As a result of this activity, the community has prepared a hydroponic place, followed by preparing plant life media, sowing seeds, planting seeds, and making hydroponic solutions directly. They know the dosage of using the hydroponic nutrient solution in its application. The community cultivates vegetables with a simple hydroponic method placed on the terraces and yards of the house with vegetables that are easy to grow, harvest quickly, and easy to maintain. However, not all MSMEs run well. Most of the MSMEs players have limited knowledge and skills in using information technology. Meanwhile, information technology for MSMEs players is critical, especially since the emergence of the Covid-19 and the implementation of the PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) policy. The existence of MSMEs will be hampered or slumped if they do not utilize technology in their business. Therefore, this society's dedication aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSMEs players on utilizing Facebook and Instagram as online marketing tools. Pot Tanam Organik Sekam Padi dalam Rangka Mendukung Gerakan Revolusi Hijau di Kalimantan Selatan: Organic Planting Pots of Rice Husk in Supporting the Green Revolution Movement in South Kalimantan Nisa, Khairun Sari, Noor Mirad Violet, Violet rice husk waste organic planting pot green revolution The community partnership program for making organic planting pots aims to provide knowledge and technology on using waste from rice husks into eco-friendly organic planting pot products and train people in making these pots. Partners in the program are the Bina Desa Farmer Group in Pemangkih Village Tatah Makmur District Banjar Regency. The activity method is socialization/counseling, training, and assistance to partners. The community partnership program was implemented from May to September 2020 through meetings with the community partners who continue to apply the Covid-19 Protocol, resulting in organic planting pot products, publications in the mass media, video activities on YouTube, and scientific articles.  Partners' knowledge increased between 76.47-94.12% after extension activities training on making organic planting pots. The implementation of this activity is a collaboration between the Ministry of Environment and Forestry by the Directorate of Peat Degradation Control, which the Directorate-General coordinates for Environmental Pollution and Degradation Control with the Faculty of Agriculture Palangka Raya University. Mantangai Tengah Village is one of the villages chosen as one of the village pilot projects under the Agriculture Faculty's supervision, Palangkaraya University. As Mantangai Tengah Village located in ex Mega Rice Project a million hectare. The program suggested to the village must be included in 3 programs (rewetting, revegetation, and revitalization). Those programs could help in recovery the degradation of peat ecosystem as a result of forest fire and increase village community incomes. Mental health is a fundamental component of the definition of health. Good mental health allows people to realize their potential, cope with the stresses of normal life, work productively, and contribute to their communities. The obligations of lecturers in tertiary institutions are the tri dharma of higher education, namely education and teaching, research, and Community Service. The purpose of this PkM activity is to provide information about mental health to women, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, through seminars held online for youth cadres of the Muhammadiyah organization. The method used is online/online seminars through the Google Meet application. Google Meet is an online video-conferencing application. The material was given in PowerPoint with the number of targets during the activity, namely 21 people from Muhammadiyah autonomous organizations. Data collection for evaluation was carried out through discussion and question-and-answer sessions. The activity results showed that five participants asked questions about the material provided. The next recommendation was that the participants' reach should be more through massive and structured information dissemination with media tailored to the capacity of the targeted participants. Almost all people in the world feel the fear of this plague. Posyandu Melati is an Integrated Service Post located in the Sawangan area, Depok. The health workers from the local Puskesmas (Community Health Center) usually carry out routine activities related to the health and empowerment of the surrounding community. During the Covid 19 pandemic, many routine agendas had to be postponed or canceled due to the PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restriction) policy. Posyandu cadres and health workers still want to help the community and carry out positive activities to help people in this pandemic era. Edukasi Pencegahan Kanker Payudara dan Pengenalan Potensi Tanaman Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) untuk Mencegah Kanker Payudara: Breast Cancer Prevention Education and Introduction to the Potential of the Kelakai Plant (Stenochlaena palustris) to Prevent Breast Cancer Mashar, Harlyanti Muthma'innah Dali, Dali SADARI Kelakai Breast cancer The incidence of breast cancer does not only occur in the age range of 30–50 years but has also been found in adolescence. It is necessary to conduct early prevention education of breast cancer and its potential as a local plant in preventing breast cancer. It is hoped that the implementation of this activity can support cancer control activities by utilizing local wisdom typical of Central Kalimantan. The target of this activity is students at MAN Palangka Raya City. Implementation methods in the form of posttest and pretest, interactive counseling through zoom applications, and discussion. The implementation of the posttest and pretest aims to see an increase in understanding after counseling. The value obtained from the posttest and pretest results was then performed statistical tests using the paired T-test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference in knowledge between before and after counseling, as evidenced by an increase in posttest scores. The average posttest score was 85.34. This value is greater than the pretest average value of 80.01. Based on the results of the paired T-test, it is known that the p-value (asymp. sig 2 tailed) is 0.001 (p <0.05), thus it is concluded that there is a significant difference in knowledge between before extension and after counseling. As many as 80% of participants have a good level of knowledge. This has achieved an indicator of success, where more than 75% of extension participants can understand the material provided. The solution to this problem is aimed at normalizing the DJJ by doing pregnancy exercises, prayer movements. The implementation of activities with the application of science and technology was carried out twice, on 4 September 2020 and 2 October 2020, with the target of pregnant women at the Puskesmas Limbangan Kendal Regency. The form of science and technology transfer began with a pre-test and ended with a post-test; education was delivered in an easy-to-understand method, providing material on prenatal exercise with prayer movements. All participants also immediately performed pregnancy exercises during the prayer movements according to instructions from the proposing team. In addition, fellow participants also discussed and exchanged experiences about their pregnancies. FHR for pregnant women ranges from 130-150 x/minute after the prayer movements; participants feel calmer and more comfortable because their breathing patterns are regular. The most important thing in this activity is that the mother will teach other pregnant women. A manager does not only perform one management function but an entire function to ensure service quality. Based on the results of the study and discussion with the head of the nursing division at an Indonesian private hospital, it was found that most nurses did not understand the application of Professional Nursing Practice Models (MPKP) ward. The aim is to provide a proper understanding of professional nursing practice, how the process and what needs to be done by nursing practice, and a correct understanding of nursing care standards (SAK) that can be addressed as a result of evaluation in the form of documentation carried out by nurses by the SDKI, SIKI and SLKI standards. The method of implementation includes a pre-test, providing MPKP and SAK materials, and implementing post-tests. The results of the 49 nurses who attended showed that there was an increase in understanding (p 0.001). Further suggestions are expected to be carried out by training with demonstration methods, role-play, or case studies to increase cognitive, affective, and psychomotor knowledge. Malnutrition conditions among people with HIV/AIDS could decrease functional capacity that contributes to immunity malfunction and increases morbidity and mortality. This activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in determining nutritional status independently to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS. Activity implementation consists of extension activities and practices using BMI Nutrition Disc. There are two evaluation designs, namely assessing participants’ knowledge and skills. Knowledge was measured using pretest and posttest, and then it will be analyzed using N Gain. Skills are measured using a skill assessment form. Further, skills before and after the practice of using BMI Nutrition Disc are measured. Based on the activities, knowledge with a high category includes 9 people (69.2%), whereas medium and low categories each consists of 2 people (15.4%). If added up, most extension participants (84.6%) have a good understanding of the extension contents provided. As regards the media utilization practice, the participants overall can determine nutritional status using BMI Nutrition Disc. The impact of this activity, that people with HIV AIDS can independently determine their nutritional status using BMI Nutrition Disc. Community service activities at SDN Tumbang Nusa 2, located in Taruna Jaya Village, Jabiren Raya, Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan, were held from July to August 2019. Activities carried out included counseling on environmental education and film screenings. It provides education to school-age children in knowing the environment, managing the environment, and increasing children's creativity in environmental conservation and forest conservation efforts. The implementation of the activity is the introduction of several types of plants that function as cover crops and good tree planting practices and provide training in making goods from used materials. The methods used are counseling, demonstrations, and mentoring. In this case, partners are school children who will have an understanding of environmental education and conservation, starting from the understanding of the environment, the causes of environmental damage, how to manage the environment around schools, and how to anticipate environmental damage. Besides, partners were also given knowledge of planting and caring for trees properly in the school environment. To access the hamlet, a map showing the location and informative information is needed so that tourists can easily reach the location. The hamlet must have an information system containing partial administrative data. The problem often occurs the lack of administrative processing that provides complete, accurate, and easy-to-update data. This service aims to update the hamlet information system by mapping the hamlet, which contains information on population data and other attributes according to the needs based on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and assisted by using ArcGIS then exported to CarryMap software. The implementation method is collecting population data from family cards, taking coordinate points, and inputting the ARCGIS software. The results obtained are that the public can find out in detail the location of the residents' houses and the population data available in the form of an online map. Therefore, the community can more easily access or update the hamlet population data through the operator. The community can also list the business opportunities they have. With an accurate digital map, it can make it easier for the outside community to find the location of tourist attractions that the village will plan as a tourism village by the potential of each hamlet. The low level of teacher creativity in making APE, in this case, becomes the anchor to provide APE for the learning process. This APE can be made by enhancing the creativity between teachers and parents of parents. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities in Pre-Kindergarten were carried out in their respective homes. To support the use of APE, training on the use of used goods was conducted. Through training in the use of used goods, the aim is to utilize items around and be used as children's learning media for teachers and parents. Implementing activities is divided into two different problem areas that one partner handles: production problems and management problems (raw material management, production process management, packing, and warehousing management, shipping management, product quality assurance management, and marketing management). The output of this community service activity is that coconut shell charcoal has been produced with an increased quality than before in terms of the low water content of less than 7%. Likewise, the briquettes to those produced are of high quality. There is an increase in added value through processing shell charcoal into briquettes which have significantly increased revenue and profit. School-age children are an age group that is vulnerable to various health problems. The number of school-age children, from early childhood to adolescence, still often neglects personal hygiene. The result of poor personal hygiene can increase the risk of infection, which can lead to various diseases. For that, health-related behaviors must be applied to children as early as possible. This activity targets students at MAN Kota Palangka Raya, the adolescent age group, who often feel that they have good endurance, so they often ignore personal hygiene problems. Implementing this activity is an online extension through the zoom application, question-and-answer, and evaluation through posttest and pretest. The posttest and pretest results obtained were then performed statistical tests using the paired T-test. Based on the analysis results, there are significant differences in knowledge between before and after counseling. The average posttest score was 85.24, which was greater than the pretest average score, which was 79.92. Based on the paired T-test results, it is known that the p-value is 0.001 (p <0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in knowledge between before and after counseling. As many as 80% of participants have a good level of knowledge. That is the importance of applying science in performing foot care. The results of the implementation of community service that have been carried out show an increase in the knowledge of participants (elderly families) after health education about foot care in the elderly with DM and awareness of the elderly in independence in carrying out daily activities will improve the quality of life and health of the elderly. The conclusion from the implementation of community service participants in community service can understand and understand the role of the family about the importance of foot care. There are two evaluations carried out in this community service, namely: Pre-test and post-test evaluations, namely in the pretest activities, the results of the 25 participants were 40% good and 60% bad after the post-test activity was carried out, the score was 80% good and 20% bad. OTG is a person infected with covid-19 but is asymptomatic and can transmit the disease to vulnerable groups. OTG is more experienced by productive groups. The purpose of Community Service activities is to create the activeness and independence of adolescents as a risk group of People Without Symptoms (OTG) is behaving in a clean and healthy life (PHBS) through online media as an effort to prevent covid-19 in the working area of Puskesmas Klasaman Sorong City. PkM method in the form of counseling using an online application, namely Zoom Meeting. The evaluation design uses questionnaires in google form applications to measure knowledge. After being educated, 96.7% of teenagers have good knowledge as much as 93.3%. Pemberdayaan Panti Asuhan Berkah Palangka Raya sebagai Basis Usaha Olahan Ikan di Kota Palangka Raya Kalimantan Tengah: Empowerment of the Berkah Palangka Raya Orphanage as a Fish Processing Business Base in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan Zubaidah, Siti Norhayani, Norhayani Rahayuningsih, Sri Endang Agustina Empowerment Orphanage Processed fish Pertanian The Berkah Palangka Raya Orphanage is located on Jalan G. Obos Induk, Menteng, Jekan Raya. Students are directed to activities that can become provisions when they graduate from school and enter the community by introducing making processed fish nuggets, meatballs, and catfish sempol. The purpose of the activity is to improve the skills of the orphanage in making processed fish and to train entrepreneurship in processed fish. The action was carried out from August to November 2019. The method of activity was socialization, counseling, training, and fish processing. The questionnaire results before the activity showed that 40-90% of students were familiar with processed fish such as nuggets, sempol, and fish balls, but 90-100% did not know how to process them. After the activity, the questionnaire results showed that the orphanage already knew the ingredients for making and how to prepare nuggets, sempol, and fish balls. However, only 50-60% could correctly explain the stages of making nuggets, sempol, and fish balls. The most popular preparations are nuggets because they make it easy, practical, delicious, while others like fish balls because the taste is not much different from meatballs. As many as 90% of orphanage children are interested in entrepreneurship in the fish processing sector because they can make their own money and have a cooking hobby. It can be concluded that the orphanage children can make nuggets, sempol, and fish balls and give quite good results. Processed fish produced by orphanage children is quite tasty and in demand by consumers. Meanwhile, during the pandemic period, a quarantine is imposed to break the chain of COVID-19. The entire community must carry out work, worship, and study activities from home. During the quarantine process, they are confused about what to do, so they often conflict with themselves and with people outside themselves. So that a positive mentality must be built to be able to motivate yourself. The method used in this community service is individual counseling; counseling is carried out on female workers who are victims of layoffs in the Pulogadung industrial area, East Jakarta. Through community service activities, female workers who are victims of layoffs learn how to motivate themselves by seeing their potential and the good side of every incident. The workers also help each other and direct others to always think positively and be ready to rise to face the pandemic conditions with a healthy mentality. The protocols are applied to tourist service units by coaching human resources in improving the service quality. The standard of tourist service facilities was adjusted to support the quality and attract tourists who want security and safety. Both of these matters directly affect the financial reporting activities. So, the procedure is also evaluated to be effective and systematic. There is urgency on how the Village Government can run Village Tourism business units to build the standard health protocols. The program aims to help the Village's Business of Pujon Kidul Tourism Village towards the employees from local citizens in the quality and suitability of services, good facilities, and internet-based financial reporting. Another goal is to support the Strategic Plan for Government policies regarding the formation of Tough Village in the pandemic and become the pilot for other villages. This program uses mentoring and coaching the village partners, which is participatory and has a Bottom-Up model (condition of the partners-decisions problem solving). The final benefit of mentoring is applying technology for internet-based financial management, creating the guidebook for Tough Tourism Village Services in Pujon Kidul, and standardization of facilities and services for the Tourism Village. Pendidikan Kesehatan pada Ibu Hamil tentang Anemia menggunakan Media Video di Kota Palangka Raya: Health Education for Pregnant Women on Anemia using Video Media in Palangka Raya City Oktaviani, Oktaviani Ayue, Heti Ira Video media Anemia Information Interaction Maternity class Pendidikan Kesehatan Ibu Hamil In developing countries with high levels of morbidity in pregnant women, anemia is a significant health problem and is one of the risk factors for postpartum bleeding. One area with low Fe intake data in Palangka Raya City is Puskemas Jekan Raya. In pregnant women, the intake of Fe is low and thus should be suspected as an indication of the anemia triggering factor during pregnancy. Efforts to increase pregnant women's knowledge of anemia can be made through improving healthcare employees with information or health education; particularly video media consist of a combination of images and sounds. Three methods have been applied in the Community Service Activity Method, including the preparation, implementation of activities, and evaluation. The activity was carried out at the Puskemas Pembantu Bumi Palangka, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City, using a class meeting of pregnant women. Media or aids used in performing these activities, such as paperwork, laptops, projectors, and videos on anemia prevention in pregnant women. This activity increases pregnant women's knowledge by 80%. In addition, pregnant women's classroom activities are also very beneficial because they improve interaction and share information. Lack of knowledge and skills of partners regarding using their yards for planting fruit trees can increase economic value and reforestation. This program aims to improve knowledge and skills in cultivating fruit trees on the grounds of the Ciliwung river school in Jakarta. The method used in implementing this community service is through the stages of program socialization, counseling and demonstrations, planting fruit trees in the pilot garden of the Ciliwung River School. The results obtained with this counseling can help partners increase their knowledge and information about using yards for productive and economical fruit tree plants. A dynamic life makes people need regulation and needs solutions in solving problems. The solution offered in this service is using land for hydroponic plants carried out in the Ardi Mulyo Village and the use of household waste as fuel. The method used is the participation of the community and students because the concept of implementing PKM is community empowerment. The implementation results show that the activities carried out are very beneficial for the community because the concept used is to realize an independent village for living needs in the form of vegetables and the demand for substitutes for kerosene and gas through plastic bottles waste refining. The method used in implementing this PKM is participatory, namely the involvement of the community and students. This method is used because the PKM carried out by the team relates to empowerment. Hence, the role is to present and monitor for the sustainability of the programs that have been implemented. The results of the implementation of the activities show that the community is very enthusiastic about the activities carried out, this can be seen by the community's participation, and the programs implemented are also right on target and effective so that the independence of the village will be formed with straightforward program implementations. There are two waste banks there, the Cantik waste banks in RW 20 and the Cinta Waste Bank in RW 21. This waste bank has also spurred local communities to process organic kitchen waste independently, but the processing results in the form of compost require more use. Continue to maintain its sustainability, especially in RW 20. The Community Service Program (PkM) majoring in Landscape Architecture coordinate and consult to create a living apothecary design model on the land around Bank Cantik and explain making it and structuring it into a park in activities counseling. The benefits felt from this PKM activity can be seen based on a questionnaire distributed to PKM participants: representatives of the Waste Bank management, PKK women, and RW management (RW heads and secretaries). The results of this PkM show that of all the participants' statements, 96% described that modeling was beneficial for the participants. Still, one participant did not need assistance in applying the design model in the field. About dietary factors, skipping breakfast and eating unhealthy foods may cause the brain to work less optimally. Moreover, high-sodium foods that teenagers prefer can damage brain cells. If the pattern and selection of food in students are not immediately corrected, of course, this can interfere with their learning performance. For this reason, they need to know about the types of food and healthy eating patterns. Asrama Pendidikan Eka Sinta Palangka Raya was chosen to be the location for community service because its residents are students in junior and senior high school levels. Also, this location is not far from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangka Raya. Therefore, this institution will bring a real impact on the surrounding environment. This activity was carried out in November 2020, attended by 13 dormitory residents, four dormitory managers, and seven community service executors. In general, the activities run smoothly and bring new insights toward a good diet. Participants’ level of understanding was excellent (81.76%). The manager of Asrama Pendidikan Eka Sinta Palangka Raya wished this activity could be carried out sustainably by adding training materials, so that dormitory residents gain more skills, especially in processing functional food products to increase memory made from vegetable and fruit waste. Pelatihan Pembuatan Hand Sanitizer yang Lembut di Kulit dalam Pencegahan Covid-19 di Kalangan Siswa SMA: Training on Making Soft Hand Sanitizer for Skin in The Prevention of Covid-19 among High School Students Atmadani, Rizka Novia Alcohol Covid-19 Hand sanitizer Training Student Senior High School The problem of Covid 19, which has become a pandemic, is a problem that must be prevented by implementing strict health protocols, especially with the use of Hand Sanitizers that have correct concentration and correct composition that effectively kill microorganisms on the hands. Making Hand Sanitizers using alcohol with 65- 95% concentration is one of the effective ingredients to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. This training activity was carried out for students of PMR members of SMAN 7 Kediri through the stages of preparation, counseling with pretest and posttest, and the practice of making Hand Sanitizers. The Hand Sanitizer products that are produced are given to all students and the school. The pretest and posttest scores concluded that there was an increase in students' knowledge of the education provided. Hopefully, the students could make their Hand Sanitizer at home and could play a role in breaking the chain of the spread of Covid-19. Peningkatan Pengetahuan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat Mental Masyarakat Kalurahan Timbulharjo, Sewon, Bantul di Era New Reality Covid-19: Increasing Knowledge of Clean and Mental Health Behavior for the People of Timbulharjo Village, Sewon, Bantul in the New Reality Covid-19 Era Isni, Khoiriyah Kekasi, Ardarina Delfiona Indriani, Nur Safani Sari, Juwita PHBS Mental health Community development The low level of public awareness in Balong Hamlet, Bibis Hamlet, and Kowen 2 Hamlet, Timbulharjo Village, Sewon, Bantul regarding clean and healthy living habits, both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community empowerment activity is to provide education about clean and healthy living habits and mental health so that there is an increase in public knowledge and awareness. This activity is carried out using the lecture, question and answer method, and case studies. This activity is carried out in three stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the reporting stage. The activities were carried out on 15, 16, and 17 February 2021, involving 70 people and three students. The results of this empowerment activity are evidenced by the existence of community empowerment which is shown through increasing knowledge about clean and mentally healthy living behaviors (p-value = 0.000). Education with the theme of clean and mentally healthy living habits needs to be carried out regularly to remind people of preventing Covid-19. Besides, it can also prevent public boredom in implementing clean and mentally healthy living behaviors. Pembinaan Desain Produk Amplang Ikan sebagai Alternatif Usaha Rumahan bagi Ibu-Ibu PKK Desa Terantang, Barito Kuala: Training on Fish Amplang Product Design as A Home-Based Business Alternative for PKK Members of Terantang Village, Barito Kuala Nastiti, Rizky Norbaiti, Norbaiti Akbar, Masithah Goenadhi, Lydia Fish amplang Product design Home business Terantang Village is located in Barito Kuala Regency, where the women are members of the PKK, which is where they learn to start a home business. Most PKK members are housewives who have just started small businesses such as spinach chips. This training aimed to provide the participants with a business alternative, from determining and designing products that suit their conditions to training on how to produce these products. Fish amplang was offered as an alternative product, considering that the raw material in the form of fish is easy to obtain and does not require special equipment in its manufacture. This activity is carried out by providing material about product design and practicing making fish amplang taught by an amplang business owner. From the activities carried out, the participants gained new skills regarding the design of fish amplang products. In addition, this training is expected to be a provision for them to develop their businesses. Furthermore, from the evaluation results, it is found that the participants are satisfied with the training carried out, especially since they can learn new skills. They also request that similar training be held periodically. The low coverage of early detection of cervical cancer is one of the causes of high mortality due to late treatment. One factor influencing women's participation of childbearing age in cervical cancer early detection is access to information and cadres' role. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of health cadres about early detection of cervical cancer as a requirement for health promotion to women. The methods used in this activity were lectures, question and answer, and discussion. The participants were 13 health cadres in Sumberrahayu Village, Limbangan District. The result is an increase in good category knowledge (15.5 to 76.9%). Increasing cadres' knowledge can be used as a model for community empowerment in upgrading the childbearing age women's knowledge about early detection of cervical cancer. Racikan Minuman Jamur Tiram (Pleurotus ostratus) sebagai Peningkat Kesehatan Tubuh: Oyster Mushroom Drink Concoction (Pleurotus ostratus) as a Body Health Enhancer Lestari, Uce Muhammad, Damris Adriadi, Ade Minarni, Minarni Formulation Oyster mushroom Health Drink minuman kesehatan Tanjung Johor sub-district is located in the District of Service of Jambi City and is one of the guided villages of the University of Jambi, which has great natural resource potential. However, the community's livelihoods are still mostly rubber and oil palm farmers. One of the potentials in this village is waste from empty palm oil bunches and used as oyster mushroom farming. The resulting oyster mushroom has not been processed into a health drink, only as a cooking ingredient. The results of guidance and collaboration from Jambi University lecturers, such as introducing the benefits of oyster mushrooms for improving body health in this village, have been carried out, but the production of oyster mushrooms has not been carried out. By seeing this potential came the idea to make a healthy drink from oyster mushrooms. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide selling value for oyster mushrooms from agriculture and post-harvest handling, increase public knowledge about the benefits of oyster mushrooms and maximize human resources in Tanjung Johor village. The method used is oyster mushroom counseling and making health drinks. This activity produces processed products from oyster mushrooms such as health drinks that can increase the selling value of oyster mushrooms and increase the creativity of human resources in Tanjung Johor Village, Pelayangan District Jambi City. Aging is caused by a variety of factors both from within and from outside the body. As a traditional raw material, turmeric (Curcuma longa L) contains natural metabolite compounds in the form of curcumin. Rice and turmeric are ingredients often found in the community. The use of rice for beauty is still very little known to the public. The target of this activity is the community of Cempaka Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The objective of this activity is to improve the community's skills in making traditional scrubs. The method is to provide training/demonstrations in making scrub preparations. The result of this community service activity is that people can practice making scrubs from turmeric and rice. This activity concludes that the scrub products processed by the community service team can be well received by the residents, which is indicated by the enthusiasm of the residents asking questions and trying the scrub products made. One way to overcome MMR and IMR is to implement bounding attachments. There are various ways to do bounding attachments, including Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. The achievement of Exclusive Breastfeeding in the Working Area of ​​the Air Cold Health Center is 66.5%, still far from the government's target of 80%. Independent Practice Midwife Silvia Nova Sari is one of the PMBs in the working area of ​​the Air Cold Health Center, Balai Gadang Village, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. Based on interviews with breastfeeding mothers at PMB Silvia Nova Sari, it was found that most mothers did not know about bounding attachments and how to create them. Likewise with PMB owners, that as health workers, not all mothers get bounding attachment education to pregnant women. Activities carried out include health promotion by providing information and education to pregnant women and their families with a Focus Group Discussion approach on creating bounding attachments between mothers and babies, which was held on 30 September-1 October 2020. Each stage was attended by five pregnant women with due observance of health protocols. The result of bounding attachment education for pregnant women is that almost all mothers experience an increase in knowledge about bounding attachment, seen from the questionnaire results given before and after education. The Islamic Student Boarding School of the Ma'arif NU Islamic Institute in Metro City is located in Metro, Lampung. So far, there are approximately 70 students at the Ma'arif NU student boarding school in Metro City. There are prospects for advancement in entrepreneurial skills centered on this opportunity. To improve students in general education and Islamic scholarship, but with other skills currently needed, one of which is entrepreneurship. Making calligraphy art with tremendous economic potential is one of the skills taught in Islamic boarding schools. The goals of this program include introducing entrepreneurship to student students, learning how to use Prada techniques to create calligraphy art, and applying calligraphy art-making as an entrepreneur. The ABCD method was used for the assistance given to Metro City Ma'arif NU Islamic boarding school students. In this strategy, service prioritizes using capacity and assets that the group already has. In this approach, the capacity or potential is the direct assistance of society in achieving progress. The assistance results showed that the students managed to develop a calligraphy company that was run at an entire profit to fund the needs of the Islamic boarding school students. Students are not solely dependent on parental submissions based on these benefits. The outcomes of the calligraphy efforts carried out will fulfill the needs of entrepreneurial learners. The methods used are training and mentoring. This service activity went well thanks to the cooperation of all partners. Efforts to increase the marketing capacity of partners are felt to have grown with this dedication. Partners have become aware that in a digital era like this, their business must be more up to date with the times and adaptive to existing problems. Dasa Wisma Group partners also experienced an increase in capacity, especially in processing food into frozen food. It happens because its characteristics contain nutrients in varying types and amounts depending on the original material, provide nutrients slowly (slow release) and in limited quantities, and have the main function of improving soil fertility and health. The pile of organic waste from the Koto Baru market directly impacts the environment to their community. This Community Service Program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of target communities about processing vegetable waste from the Koto Baru market into the solid and liquid-friendly environment of organic fertilizers. The target people of this activity were PKK Jorong Subarang Nagari Koto Baru women in particular and people who wrote Jorong Subarang Nagari Koto Baru. The methods used in this service were socialization of the processing of vegetable waste from the Koto Baru market into the solid and liquid-solid and liquid friendly environment of organic fertilizers, distribution of practical manuals for assembling tools for making solid and liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste, distributing initial questionnaires to online socialization. Youth organizations as a forum for youth to develop themselves, grow awareness and social responsibility from, for, and by youths were expected to overcome social problems faced by taking an active role in increasing public awareness and vigilance, primarily related to the COVID-19 hoax. Therefore, through this empowerment activity, Desa Bunga-Bunga youth organizations as active internet consumers were expected to increase their ability to think critically in filtering and interpreting information received from the internet and educate others to minimize the existence of hoax-related to COVID-19 in the community. The method of this activity was lecture and discussion of effective communication, hoax, and COVID-19. The participants’ knowledge was assessed by pre-test and post-test. The participants’ understanding of hoax and COVID-19 increased while the communication topic decreased. In conclusion, the participants could sort out hoaxes related to COVID-19.
