Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Lamanya Menyusui di Puskesmas Menteng Kota Palangka Raya

Praktik menyusui secara eksklusif sampai usia bayi 6 bulan terus menerus mengalami penurunan. Keuntungan menyususi meningkat seiring lama menyusui terutama pemberian secara eksklusif selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan. Praktik menyusui khusunya pemberian ASI eksklusif tidak memenuhi target nasional 80% sehingga perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk bisa membantu pencapaian target tersebut. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi lama praktik menyusui. Jenis penelitian ini deskritif analitik non eksperimen dengan rancangan cross sectional study.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel 100 orang ibu menyusui yang berada di wilayah puskesmas Menteng. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan univariat menggunakan teknik distribusi frekuensi, bivariat dengan uji korelasi dan multivariat menggunakan regresi logistik berganda. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara Inisiasi Menyusu Dini dengan lama menyusui (p value=0,035), sedangkan faktor umur (p value=0,591), pendidikan (p value=0,277), pekerjaan (p value=0,087), paritas (p value=0,254), keputusan menyusui (p value=0,470), pengetahuan (p value =0,706), sikap (p value=0,4188) dan dukungan tenaga (p value =0,488) kesehatan tidak mempengaruhi lamanya menyusui. Lamanya menyusui dipengaruhi oleh faktor inisiasi menyusu dini dan tidak dipengaruhi faktor umur, pendidikan, pekerjaan, paritas, keputusan menyusui, pengetahuan, sikap dan dukungan tenaga.
