Mitsaqan Ghalizan: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga dan Pemikiran Hukum Islam (E-ISSN 2964-2191) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal managed by the Department of Family Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya, and published biannually (June and December) by the Institute for Research and Community Services Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, since 2021. The journal accepts original research articles, conceptual papers, and review articles from scholars and practitioners without discrimination, provided that the manuscripts meet academic and scientific standards. As a distinctive feature, Mitsaqan Ghalizan prioritizes scholarly works focusing on Islamic family law and Islamic legal thought in Indonesia, particularly in relation to marriage, divorce, inheritance, waqf, guardianship, family-based Islamic economic disputes, and contemporary legislative as well as judicial developments in religious courts. Nevertheless, the journal also welcomes comparative, theoretical, and empirical studies from other jurisdictions and legal traditions. Mitsaqan Ghalizan publishes academic works in the fields of Islamic family law and broader Islamic legal thought, including but not limited to classical and contemporary madhhab doctrines, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, uṣūl al-fiqh, gender discourse, law reform and codification, socio-legal studies, and the intersection of Islamic law with constitutional law and human rights. All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity. |
