Abstract
This community engagement programme aims to enhance digital literacy among coastal micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by implementing QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) for the Poklahsar Mina Karya group in Kampung Bahari, Tambak Lorok, Semarang. The initiative responds to the limited understanding among coastal communities regarding digital payment systems. The outreach encompasses eight key components: a basic understanding of QRIS, its benefits for business efficiency, usage procedures, transaction security, application operation, associated fees and regulations (including the Merchant Discount Rate), frequency of use, and partner perceptions of QRIS usability and value. The programme employs interactive education, hands-on practice, and technical assistance. The outcomes indicate improved comprehension of QRIS functions, enhanced ability to operate digital payment applications, and increased awareness of digital security. Most participants successfully registered for QRIS accounts and began actively using them for sales transactions. Furthermore, participants expressed positive views on the practicality of QRIS and its potential to expand market access. This activity serves as a starting point for the digital transformation of coastal economies and supports the national financial inclusion agenda.
