Abstract
Gang Banyumas RT. 32, located in the Karang Joang Subdistrict, is actively addressing plastic waste. Most of its residents work as housewives, private employees, civil servants, or farmers/laborers. Near the Integrated Healthcare Center, which serves as a hub for maternal and child health activities, serious problems arise due to plastic waste. Plastic bags, drink bottles, and containers are strewn about, disrupting residents' comfort and posing threats to the environment and health. Consequently, ecobrick emerged as a creative solution through community service activities. These activities involved outreach and training on ecobrick production, enhancing residents' understanding and skills in managing plastic waste, and encouraging active participation in environmental preservation. Ecobrick transforms previously problematic plastics into usable products, including innovative items like tables. This initiative will inspire the broader community to manage waste wisely and contribute to a healthier environment.
