Abstract
Salo Palai Village, located in Muara Badak Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, has local potential for nipah fruit that can be developed into functional foods based on sustainable resources. To support the utilization of this potential, socialization and assistance were conducted for the registration of Produk Industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT), and Halal certification training was carried out to enhance the value of nipa fruit into high-value food products for Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Baba Gusung. A total of 30 KTH participants completed pre- and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of the activities. The results showed an increased understanding of the importance of product legality, while also encouraging participants' commitment to register processed nipah fruit flour products to add economic value.
