Etika Komunikasi, Keterampilan Konseling, dan Pengembangan Pojok Konseling Remaja dalam Mewujudkan Kampung Ramah Keluarga Communication Ethics, Counseling Skills, and the Development of Adolescent Counseling Corners in Realizing Family-Friendly Villages

Abstract
Communication ethics among adolescents requires serious attention. Many adolescents experience bullying and lack peers with whom they can share their problems. This situation often leads to feelings of isolation. Therefore, optimizing communication ethics, providing counseling skills, and developing youth counseling corners are crucial to support the realization of Kampung Ramah Keluarga (Family-Friendly Villages). This initiative was implemented through a community service program conducted by lecturers from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (IKK) of the Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) at IPB University, as part of the Dosen Pulang Kampung program in Babakan Village, Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. The activity involved 26–36 adolescents aged 11–18 years. The method employed consisted of interactive counseling sessions delivered in three modules across two meetings, covering topics on communication ethics, counseling skills, and the development of youth counseling corners. To evaluate the program's effectiveness, pre-tests and post-tests were administered. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and awareness of communication ethics and counseling skills. Adolescents responded positively, as reflected in their active participation in discussions and experience-sharing, as well as their support for the establishment of youth counseling corners as part of the Family-Friendly Village initiative.
