Pemberdayaan Kelompok UP2K melalui Pelatihan Diversifikasi Produk Olahan Daun Kelor di Desa Telaga Langsat, Kalimantan Selatan Empowering UP2K Groups through Training on Diversification of Moringa Leaf Products in Telaga Langsat Village, South Kalimantan
Main Article Content
Abstract
Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) have high potential as a functional food ingredient due to their rich nutritional content, but their use by community business groups is still limited. The UP2K group in Telaga Langsat Village faces various obstacles in producing moringa leaf products, including limited equipment, limited product variety, high oil content in moringa sticks, and suboptimal packaging and marketing. This community service activity aims to improve the group's skills and capacity through training in diversifying moringa leaf products, including powder processing, pudding-making, and product packaging techniques. The training was conducted in four stages: initial preparation, socialization, hands-on practice, and evaluation using pre- and post-tests. The results showed an increase in participants' average scores across various aspects, including understanding of moringa leaves (4.32 to 4.64), technical knowledge (3.50 to 4.07), and product manufacturing skills (2.75 to 3.43). This program successfully improved the technical competence, entrepreneurial motivation, and innovation capabilities of the UP2K group in the processing and packaging of moringa-based products. This activity is expected to be the first step in strengthening the community's economy through the sustainable use of local resources.
