Abstract

Community service activities at the MGMP IPA of Kediri Regency were held to enhance the contribution and collaboration between Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) and partner schools. The activities aimed to improve teachers' abilities to design, implement, and evaluate science learning using problem- and project-based learning models, as well as to broaden their insights into deep learning through digital multimedia. These activities were conducted through mentoring and feedback on learning and assessment, using four levels of feedback: feedback about the task, feedback on the processing of the task, feedback on self-regulation, and personal feedback (feedback about the self as a person). The program was carried out in two stages in the form of training, mentoring, and evaluation, and was attended by 54 science teachers working in MTs throughout Kediri Regency. The results showed that active learning training incorporating deep learning supported by multimedia at the MGMP IPA of Kediri Regency successfully improved teachers' understanding and competencies, with evident positive changes. Furthermore, this program can be continued by monitoring the implementation of science learning using innovative learning models and the latest technological media.
