Abstract
The Government of Indonesia provides Halal Assurance for products in Indonesia through the Halal Certification Law. The implementation of halal guarantees includes MSMEs, which are expected to provide comfort, security, safety, and certainty of the availability of Halal Products for the community. The low interest among MSME actors in obtaining halal certification stems from a lack of information about the required procedures and documents. This Community service aims to provide education on halal product assurance and to assist MSME actors in applying for halal certification. The method is carried out in three stages. First, a survey to identify MSMEs without halal certificates. Second, in-depth counseling education on the importance of halal certification, the application process, and the benefits of halal-certified products. Finally, the workshop practically prepares the necessary documents and prepares for an external audit. The evaluation of activities was carried out through a descriptive assessment of participants' understanding levels and the halal certification of MSME products by business actors. The results of this halal certification assistance activity include halal-certified MSME products and MSME actors' understanding of the importance of halal product assurance in their business products, which provides security and trust for both business actors and consumers.
