Pendampingan Terintegrasi Produksi dan Manajemen Usaha dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja UMKM Poletana Coffee Roastery Kota Parepare Integrated Production and Business Management Assistance to Improve the Performance of Poletana Coffee Roastery MSME in Parepare City
Main Article Content
Abstract
This community service program aimed to improve the performance of Poletana Coffee Roastery MSME in Parepare City through integrated assistance in production and business management. The partner faced several key problems, including limited production capacity and efficiency due to the use of simple equipment, as well as unstructured managerial practices, particularly in production planning and business recordkeeping. The program was implemented using a participatory, continuous mentoring approach that included problem identification, intervention implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The main intervention involved the provision of higher-capacity coffee-grinding technology, accompanied by mentoring in production process management and basic business recordkeeping. The results showed a significant increase in coffee powder production volume, from 156.5 kg in the pre-intervention period to 216.4 kg after the assistance, representing a 38.3% increase. In addition to increased output, production became more stable during the program's final phase. Managerial mentoring also contributed to improvements in production and transaction-recording practices, enabling the partner to begin adopting data-driven business decision-making. These findings indicate that integrated assistance combining production improvement and management strengthening is effective in enhancing MSME capacity and supporting business sustainability, particularly in small-scale coffee processing enterprises.
