Abstract
Asnaf communities represent a vulnerable group that requires not only financial assistance but also educational support and moral reinforcement to achieve sustainable independence. Therefore, this community service program was conducted at the Faizuddin Center of Educational Excellence (FCoEE), Perlis, Malaysia, to explore the role of donation programs in holistically empowering asnaf communities. The program was implemented in four stages: preparation, donation distribution, motivational session, and evaluation, involving ten beneficiaries selected by FCoEE. In addition to receiving direct assistance, participants attended a motivational session emphasizing resilience, the importance of education, and the Islamic value of ḥayâ’ (modesty). The program, held on 28 August 2025, was well received, with participants expressing appreciation not only for the financial support but also for the recognition of their dignity and humanity, while the presence of institutional leadership further strengthened trust in the initiative. Overall, this activity demonstrates that donation programs serve a dual function, as short-term relief and as a means of long-term empowerment, through the integration of financial, educational, and ethical dimensions, and it aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, and 3 in promoting social justice, solidarity, and human development.
