Main Article Content
Abstract
The objectives of this community service activity were to enhance students' psychological and academic preparedness, provide concrete orientation on various study programs, develop self-reflection and decision-making skills, and introduce the campus ecosystem. Activities were implemented through three main components: (1) study program simulations using an experiential learning approach, (2) a public lecture and career guidance seminar titled Open Mind covering self-exploration, major selection, and action planning, and (3) a student discussion forum for academic life orientation. Formative evaluation results indicated significant improvements in clarity of educational goals, confidence in selecting a major, and understanding of the higher education environment. Participants also demonstrated enhanced self-reflection and the ability to formulate concrete action plans. It is concluded that structured, experience-based psychoeducation programs effectively improve students' readiness for higher education and are recommended for integration into annual academic calendars.
