Abstract
Tlogo Village is one of the salak-producing centers in Wonosobo Regency, generating organic waste in the form of peels, seeds, and unmarketable fruits that are not optimally utilized. This community service program aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in processing salak waste into liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The activities were conducted in the hamlets of Plintaran, Tugon, and Tlogo through socialization, demonstrations, hands-on training, and discussions with local residents. The fertilizer was produced from salak waste, water, EM4, and molasses via fermentation. The results showed strong community enthusiasm and active participation throughout the program. Through a participatory approach, residents gained knowledge and practical skills in converting salak waste into a useful agricultural product. This program supports environmentally friendly organic waste management while creating opportunities to increase the economic value of salak waste and promote sustainable agricultural practices in Tlogo Village.
