Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD bergaya kognitif impulsif. Data dideskripsikan berdasarkan kriteria berpikir kritis klarifikasi, penilaian, penarikan kesimpulan dan strategi. Subjek penelitian adalah dua mahasiswa PGSD bergaya kognitif impulsif dipilih berdasarkan hasil MFFT (Matching Familiar Figure Test). Instrumen pendukung yang digunakan adalah tes MFFT, tes pemecahan masalah, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berpikir kritis mahasiswa bergaya kognitif impulsif dalam klarifikasi mampu memahami informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyakan, mampu menilai konsep yang digunakan, belum mampu menampilkan hubungan antar informasi yang sesuai, dan belum mampu menggunakan konsep untuk pemecahan masalah.
