Abstract
Vocational education in secondary schools plays an important role in preparing graduates who possess not only technical skills but also entrepreneurial competencies that are adaptable to market demands. However, many students still face limitations in understanding business planning, market analysis, and innovative product development. Therefore, this community service activity was conducted to strengthen students’ entrepreneurial competencies through an integrated workshop approach. The activity was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya over four days, involving 25 students, 15 micro, small, and medium enterprise practitioners, and 5 accompanying teachers. The methods used included lectures, discussions, product analysis, and mentoring in business model development. The materials covered Business Model Canvas development, pricing strategies, prototype analysis, business feasibility assessment through customer feedback, and business model improvement. The results showed that students were able to develop a simple business model and understand the relationship between product, market, and business strategy. The analyzed product, a multifunctional wooden chair that can be transformed into an ironing table, demonstrated market potential with several improvements required. In addition, most students presented their business ideas effectively. This activity had a positive impact on students’ understanding, communication skills, and ability to think creatively and adaptively when facing business challenges.
