ISPU Untuk Kesehatan Masyarakat: Sebuah Tinjauan Narasi Tentang Pemanatauan Kualitas Udara AQI for Public Health: a Narative Review of Air Pollution Monitoring

Abstract
Efek negatif kualitas udara ambien yang buruk banyak dilaporkan oleh banyak penelitian. Hasil-hasil penelitian tersebut sangat penting bagi masyarakat umum, terutama kelompok rentan, untuk mengetahui kualitas udara di daerah mereka sehingga tindakan yang tepat dapat diambil jika terjadi polusi. Para pembuat kebijakan sebaiknya memiliki pemahaman yang kuat tentang tren kualitas udara saat ini dan antisipasi tren di masa depan. Tinjauan literatur ini berfokus pada penyediaan data kualitas udara secara langsung dan peringatan dini terhadap kejadian yang berpotensi membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat melalui informasi proaktif dan indeks kualitas udara nasional. Tulisan ini membahas juga tentang beberapa kendala teknis dalam merancang sistem ini termasuk kompleksitas polutan atau konsentrasi paparan tertentu dan seberapa baik individu menyadari dan menerima sistem informasi ini. Ponsel dengan aplikasi sensor dapat memberikan informasi paparan kualitas udara yang tepat menurut area dan waktu kepada masyarakat. Tujuannya adalah agar masyarakat dapat mengubah perilaku mereka dengan cara yang dapat melindungi kesehatan dan kualitas udara yang mereka hirup, terlepas dari kapan mereka perlu minum obat, rute/mode transportasi saat bepergian ke tempat kerja atau sekolah, atau kapan waktu yang tepat untuk beraktivitas di luar ruangan.
