Abstract
Latar Belakang: Gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) merupakan penyakit dengan penurunan fungsi ginjal yang bersifat progresif dan ireversibel sehingga memerlukan terapi hemodialisis. Terapi ini dapat memengaruhi kondisi fisik, psikologis, dan sosial pasien yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan lama menjalani hemodialisis. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 130 responden. Kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan kuesioner Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form-36 (KDQOL-SF 36), sedangkan data karakteristik diperoleh dari rekam medis. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat. Responden berusia 46–55 tahun (38,5%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (51,5%), berpendidikan SD (44,6%), bekerja sebagai ibu rumah tangga (43,8%), dan telah menjalani hemodialisis selama 49–60 bulan (28,5%). Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki kualitas hidup kategori sedang (52,3%), diikuti kategori baik (36,2%), sangat baik (7,7%), dan buruk (3,8%), sedangkan tidak terdapat responden dengan kualitas hidup kategori sempurna. Simpulan: Gambaran kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon didominasi oleh kategori sedang, dengan mayoritas responden merupakan kelompok usia lansia awal, berjenis kelamin laki-laki, berpendidikan SD, bekerja sebagai ibu rumah tangga, dan telah menjalani hemodialisis selama 49–60 bulan.
