Aslama: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam (JPI) is a national journal managed by the Faculty of Islamic Religion Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya and published by the Institute for Research and Community Services Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya two times a year (in June and December). The journal is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scholarly discussions on Islamic education, Muslim educational institutions, educational leadership, digital transformation, and contemporary issues affecting Muslim communities worldwide. The journal promotes interdisciplinary perspectives that connect Islamic educational thought with current educational, social, cultural, and technological developments.
The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, and critical studies that contribute to the development of Islamic education in local, national, and global contexts.

Aslama: Journal of Islamic Education Volume 3 Number 1 June 2026
Presents various studies that highlight the development of Islamic education thought, policy and practice in the contemporary era. This edition contains articles on the implementation of a love-based curriculum, the Prophet's educational methods, interpretive studies of the spiritual crisis of modern society, prophetic leadership in the formation of students' morals, reconstruction of Jean Piaget's cognitive theory, the role of the hidden curriculum in Islamic schools, as well as an analysis of students' academic abilities in writing Islamic-themed essays.
Through the contributions of academics and researchers, this edition is expected to enrich the scientific knowledge of Islamic education and become a reference for researchers, educators, students and educational practitioners in developing Islamic education that is relevant, has character and is oriented towards the progress of civilization.

Aslama: Journal of Islamic Education ( Aslama ) is a journal managed by the Faculty of Islamic Religion Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya and published by the Institute for Research and Community Services Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya two times a year (in June and December), contains scientific articles of research and critical analysis studies in Islamic Studies, and another related field.
Editors eccept well-prepared manuscripts that have not beeb published in other publications. The format and requirements for manuscripts are listed on the back cover page. Submitted manuscripts will be evaluated and edited to ensure consestency in format, terminology, and other writing procedures.
Each year, the Aslama: Journal of Islamic Education publishes between 10 and 20 articles divided into two editions.
