Dear Contributors, Readers, and the Academic Community,

As the Borneo Journal of Pharmacy continues to grow in reach and impact, the Editorial Board remains committed to enhancing the quality of our editorial services and providing a more efficient platform for the dissemination of pharmaceutical research. To support these goals, we are pleased to announce two significant updates to our publication policy, effective from Volume 9, Issue 1 (2026).

First, the journal will be adjusting its quarterly publication schedule. To better optimize our peer-review workflows and ensure rigorous production standards, the release months for our four annual issues will shift. The current cycle of February, May, August, and November will transition to a new schedule of March, June, September, and December. This one-month adjustment is designed to provide our editorial team and reviewers with sufficient time to maintain the high standards of scholarly excellence that our readers expect.

Second, in response to the increasing volume of high-quality submissions from both domestic and international researchers, we are expanding our publication capacity. To reduce the "time-to-publication" for accepted manuscripts and to share more diverse research findings with the community, the number of articles per issue will be increased. Each quarterly issue will now feature 12 original research and review articles, an increase from the previous limit of 10.

These changes represent a strategic step forward in our mission to be a leading voice in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. We believe that by increasing our capacity and refining our schedule, we can better serve our authors and provide our readers with a more robust selection of scientific advancements.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our authors, reviewers, and readers for your continued trust and support of the Borneo Journal of Pharmacy. We look forward to receiving your future contributions under this new and expanded framework.

Sincerely,

The Editorial Board
