Development of Local Wisdom-Based IPAS Worksheet for Disaster Mitigation Learning in Central Kalimantan
Main Article Content
Abstract
Disaster mitigation learning at the elementary school level has not yet optimally integrated local wisdom as a contextual learning resource, even though Central Kalimantan is a region with high vulnerability to various natural disasters. This study aims to develop an IPAS LKPD based on Central Kalimantan local wisdom for disaster mitigation learning in Grade IV elementary school students. The development employed the ADDIE with a PBL approach. The LKPD incorporates four primary local wisdom elements mapped to four dominant disaster types in Central Kalimantan: Saka/Handil for forest and land fire mitigation, Rumah Lanting for flood mitigation, Huma Betang architecture and Kaleka for extreme heat mitigation, and Riparian Vegetation for landslide mitigation. Expert validation yielded scores of 87.5% for content validity and 85.0% for media validity. A limited trial involving 27 fourth-grade students at SDN 7 Lanjas Muara Teweh produced a readability response score of 89.3%. Pre-test results showed a mean score of 52.4, which increased to 78.6 in the post-test. Furthermore, 75% of students achieved scores above the KKM after LKPD implementation. The findings demonstrate that the developed LKPD is valid, practical, and effective as a disaster literacy learning medium grounded in local wisdom values and the Pancasila Student Profile.
